They're running episodes of UWF now.

If they ever get back to AWA, be on the lookout for the New Year's Eve episode from the end of 1987. Most of it was (an obviously hammered) Larry Nelson interviewing wrestlers (also drunk, especially Wahoo McDaniel) at a dive bar in Minnesota, with a few matches in between. We get an early appearance from Eric Bischoff, 'Nasty Boy' Jerry Sags (who I don't even think was employed by the company at this point) wandering aimlessly in the background of every promo, and the Rockers with ring rats on each arm. The episode ends with Nelson in a dunk tank.

Just a tour de force from start to finish.

Right you are. I guess I was thinking only of WCW.

Flair's first singles title was the Mid-Atlantic TV championship.

I used to like the old WCW TV title. There was a while where they were having a run with Sting, Arn Anderson and the Great Muta all going at each other for it. Awesome matches. And the ECW TV title was awesome.

Any thoughts on No Way Out tonight? I can't see either the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Title changing hands as it seems like it's a lock that Orton and Cena will go at it at WM 25 and Edge will likely square off against Triple H or someone else. With that being said, I can't see anything but a predictable PPV.

The only match that intrigues me in the entire card is the Orton/McMahon match because, as we've all mentioned, there is a good chance that Shane sides with Orton and turns on Stephanie.

HBK/JBL should be decent. I wouldn't expect HBK to lose considering the stipulations.

Thoughts? Or is anyone going to buy it or pirate some sort of live stream again like the Royal Rumble? Haha.

The only match I have in question is HBK vs. JBL. I think there are ways to book around the stips and there could be a payoff match at WrestleMania, with Michaels winning of course. I still think Michaels wins tonight.

I'd be stunned if Cena, Orton, or Swagger lost and I'd expect Edge to hold on as well.

I don't think it'll be as simple as Orton or McMahon losing, though. I see some sort of larger feud resulting from this match that will put a full spin on this whole storyline altogether. I'm hoping so, at least. I expect every other match to be a bore, but at least we can expect SOMETHING from this PPV.

I don't think the PPV will be a bore. There are only five matches currently booked on the card, but they are at least somewhat entertaining. Hopefully, Christian is involved in Swagger vs. Fit Finlay. The two main event Elimination Chambers should each last 30 minutes or longer with some hard-hitting action (even if the winners are rather predictable). Orton-McMahon will not be a technical masterpiece, but Shane is fun to watch and will take some spots. And Michaels will carry JBL to a good match.

I agree that storylines have to be advanced on this card to set the seeds for WrestleMania. I expect there to be some kind of twist in McMahon vs. Orton...maybe Vince's return? Or I've heard rumors about Stone Cold coming out of retirement in his home state during the year he is inducted into the HoF. One last match involving Austin vs. Orton would spike the 25th WrestleMania buyrate and be quite interesting. Also interested to see the result of Micheals-JBL. They've invested too much time in this feud not to involve it at WrestleMania somehow.

I'm looking forward to it. There should be some big spots in the chamber matches. As bostonbred said, Shane-Orton should be good because Shane will take some spots. Plus Orton is pretty awesome. I can't imagine Michaels losing tonight, but who knows. I imagine his wife will be at ringside as well, given that JBL told Michaels on RAW to bring her. Wonder how she'll play into it.

I"m going to pirate a stream. I'll post it tonight once I find one. But I usually have to move around 3-4 times because the streams are often shut down after a while.

Yeah, who cares about that whole championship match he was guaranteed by winning the Royal Rumble.
