Add Umaga in the MIB. He's from Houston. No way he gets left out of this WM.

 

I also read where they are talking about a cruiserweight championship...that might open up something more realistic for Mysterio to dominate and the Orton compadres to be the villian guys in.

 

Yeah, Umaga's gotta be in there somewhere. He works as well in MIB as anywhere.

 

Wasn't Hornswoggle the last Cruiserweight champ?

 

Yeah, but I think they need that title back.

I'm just giddy at the thought of Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, potentially guys like Chris Jericho and Christian and Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy and whoever else getting back involved in those kinds of matches.

Those were the best, when they took them seriously.

 

A cruiserweight title would be perfect to push a guy like Bourne. A couple questions, though: (1) Who turns heel? Morrison's the only lighter-weight heel around, at least on Raw. (2) What's the weight limit? If it's 225 (which is what it was before IIRC), then guys like Jericho and Matt Hardy are out (I haven't seen Christian in a while, but I assume he's over 225).

According to WWE.com, it just kinda appeared after Sept. 28, 2007. Maybe it's vacated because Hornswoggle didn't defend it or something

 

Jericho and the Hardys, and most likely Christian, would have to drop weight to compete in the cruiserweight division again.

And really, how many fans are going to buy into Jericho, Christian, Matt and Jeff vying for that belt?

 

Agreed. All have held a heavyweight title belt at some point in their career so they'd be pretty much disqualified from holding that belt.

 

Forget the cruiserweight belt. There are too many championships as it is. Just book the Tag, IC and US a little better.

 

I remember when the WWE got rid of the IC belt. I was thinking, "Are you f'ing serious?"

It was interesting watching title belts come and go in the early 2000's.

The women's title disappeared for awhile, the light heavyweight title went extinct, the European championship is gone and the hardcore title was a joke to begin with but it's worth mentioning.
