They're setting up things for WM, and it looks like they're setting things up well. Still want to know how/where the Edge/Cena bit will go, because it's obvious that match will be on the WM card.

YOU WERE WRONG! YOU WERE WRONG! Little boy in the front row... when you grow up, YOU'LL BE WRONG!

    Ha ha. Edge is great.

No, it was a joke, but his enthusiasm sounded like he was on something. Crowd ate it up, so that's all that matters.

From what I saw last night we'll get Triple H-Orton, Cena-Edge, Undertaker-Michaels (maybe triple threat with JBL), Chris Jericho vs. ? (Rourke/Flair/Piper/etc.?).

I still think we'll see either Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, or Trish Stratus have a match at WrestleMania.

They may be aiming for Jericho-Austin, though I'm not a big fan of people coming out of retirement for a PPV match and then fading into the background again (Hogan). If Austin and Trish come back, I want them to stick around a while. Especially Trish. Though if she doesn't come back, at least we won't have to see Cena wrestle with a boner again.

At least they made a half-decent effort to explain how Edge got in the Raw chamber match (Shane and Steph were out of the arena, Vicki was the highest-ranking WWE official in attendance, so she lets the guy who's porking her get in the match. Just as the Constitution outlines).

Piper gave a hell of a promo. He probably tapped into The Wrestler mentality better than anyone yet (Flair, Foley). WWE has done a much better job developing its heels than it has its faces this year. Edge, Jericho, JBL and Orton are stronger at their roles than their face counterparts (the only face who's looked better in the last few months has been Rey, who really knows how to do the underdog thing).

I wonder if the JBL-HBK angle was supposed to go to WM? It seemed pretty abrupt to end it at No Way Out, and now they're fighting for the right to be Undertaker's 17th straight victim? That seemed awkward.

Yes, I was actually satisfied with the explaniation.

I think we could see a triple threat between HBK, JBL, and Undertaker, which would extend the Michaels and JBL feud and give Undertaker something to do. Could be good television.

Anyone think there's a shot Taker actually loses at WM 25? Or is this some streak that will live in infamy or whatever? I think if anyone would beat Taker at any WM it would The Showstopper, HBK.

No shot in my opinion, but a 'Taker-Michaels match adds some intrigue to the streak possibly ending.

And I could be wrong, but I don't think they've been engaged in a feud in more than a decade.

As great a match as HBK-Taker could be, it seemed kind of odd for HBK and JBL to just throw themselves in there like that. The guy is on a totally different show and hasn't had any dealings with either of them in quite some time. And doesn't Undertaker have a feud of his own going on?

Meanwhile, today's Sporcle quiz is Intercontinental champions. I got 75 out of 120 before running out of gas:

I officially got 101 out of 120, although I typed in Rob Van Dam on a couple of times and it didn't register, for some reason. So it would have been 107 out of 120. I didn't remember the illustrious reigns of Dean Douglas and Albert. And strangely enough, I didn't remember that the guy who's my photo avatar also held the belt. So sue me.

Raw, from what I saw, looked O.K. The street fight was so-so, until Stef took the RKO. The facial expressions on Orton and HHH were terrific.

While they explained Edge's entrance in the Elimination Chamber, it would have been better had it been explained at the PPV. They could have had Edge attack Kofi backstage, then make his entrance, with Vicki appearing on the Titantron. Missed opportunity there to erase some confusion.

    Don't even, you tease.

Haha, that was pretty great. Did you see that guy in the jersey right next to the kid? It looked like he was about to jump right over the barricade and rip Edge a new one - or at least try.
