Yeah, but that still doesn't mean I condone violence against women, which is what our boy Scribe was trying to get at.

And, as a side note, I just now noticed your sidesaddle. Awesome.

I hear that. I don't condone it either *unless* it's in my wrestling shows, when it's fake to an extent.

It's pro wrestling. It's a show. Watching a woman get hit in a wrestling show is no more violent than watching a movie that features an abusive husband. You see the husband hit the wife. But you know (hopefully) that after the scene, the actor asks the actress if she's all right.

And as a teen, I used to root for Sensational Sherri to get her comeuppance as well.

Does anybody else think Stephanie sold that RKO better than a lot of wrestlers? And did you hear the pop when Orton nailed it? That dude is a mega heel and he's gotta have like nearly half the crowd every RAW loving him. If Orton wasn't around, I don't know if I'd watch. That dude is awesome.

I think Orton could be considered a tweener of sorts - he's obviously a heel, but he does get a sizeable amount of cheers and "RKO" signs and he sells a healthy amount of merch. The crowd is very much split, similiar to John Cena's reactions.

To me, Orton's beginning to live up to his potential that WWE rushed him into five or six years ago. I worry about his immaturity and anger issues, but he's definitely the most compelling wrestler of 2009 thus far. I would love to keep Cena and Orton away from each other for the next year and build up a WrestleMania 26 mega-match. Obviously, with so many PPVs on an annual basis, that seems unlikely.

On another note, Hulk Hogan is in talks with Vince McMahon about a WrestleMania match. I don't think Hogan has wrestled since he beat Orton at SummerSlam 2006 (I could be wrong) and he could probably use a payday after the divorce. I wouldn't mind seeing him lead the "legends" against Jericho.

Shouldn't be too tough to keep Orton and Cena away from each other for a while, seeing as they've switched up the feuds. Cena-Edge and Triple H-Orton both have potential to run through the summer. Then you can give them some time off, throw guys like Mysterio, MVP, Kingston and Punk in the mix through the fall, and all of a sudden you're back into Royal Rumble season and can start the buildup to Cena-Orton.

As for Hogan's return...ugh. I hate it. Mainly because you know that 60-year0old sack of crap will be booked to win (probably with help from Piper, Flair, etc. al). I'd love to see Jericho bash his head in for 15 or 20 minutes.
Still, it's better than a Jericho-Mickey Rourke match.

I see Jericho getting worked by everyone of the WWE Hall of Famers -- topped off with an Austin SC Stunner. I can't believe Jericho can fall into Rob Conway status -- remember that a few years ago when he ripped on the veterans of the biz and Kevin Von Erich, among others, each took turns kicking his butt on a 3-hour Raw?

If I'm Jericho, I'm asking for a raise, too, if I have to put Hogan over.

I hope Vince doesn't let Hogan come back. Would much rather see Rock rep the vets and kick Jericho's butt.

Would have no problem with that scenario.

I don't understand why Hogan can't just hang it up. His knees barely allow him to do anything and his hip is so bad there was talks he wouldn't even be able to do his leg drop when he last competed.

There's nothing left for this guy to prove.

There's a piped in-sound standing ovation for Hogan to hear and have them embellish on TV. ::)

Just like when he went over to WCW?

I remember reading something about when Hogan went to WCW, he was getting boo'ed so loudly that WCW had to dub in soundtracks of cheers and standing ovations of him. Then came the nWo...

I think Jericho-Hogan feud could be decent (look how shockingly good Michaels vs. Hogan turned out to be in 2005) under one condition: Jericho needs to win. I doubt they'd let that happen, but in no way should Hulk win that match even if he gets help from other legends. Chris Jericho is in the prime of his career and I'd be very much against a broken down 55-year old beating him.
