I can't speak for anyone else, but I dropped Iowa to No. 25 after the Northern Iowa debacle, and the Hawkeyes dominated Iowa State last week, so they remained there. It's not like the other candidates don't come without similar question marks.

Oregon State barely escaped at UNLV. Texas Tech is an unknown with how much they lost from last season. West Virginia struggled against Liberty. Pitt might be OK, we're not sure. Michigan beat a Notre Dame team that may or may not have been overrated. Oregon has a loss. Mizzou barely escaped Bowling Green. The list goes on.

    Brilliant!

And there was nothing convincing about FSU's win against Jax State, which it pulled out of its ass at the last minute.

While flawed in more ways than most, Slappy knows how to knock it out of the park. Bravo, sir.

I mean...Ohio State 25th? That just reeks of "Hey, look at me. I have a different opinion than anyone else in the world. I'm special."

You really think Southern Miss, Kansas, South Florida, etc... are better football teams than Ohio State?

    So silly.

Looks like the first ballot you posted this season. Could have at least put in the previous rankings of the teams.

He sees tOSU and the Big 10 for the fraud that they are. Nothing wrong with that. I had them 14th and part of me feels like that's too generous.

That's the big question. Given how he has USC fourth, it would be hard to penalize Ohio State too severely for a three-point loss to the Trojans -- even on their home field -- given how they led until the finish.
