    It looks a lot better now that nearly a month has passed. People have forgotten how badly VT was outplayed that night. Out of sight, out of mind.

    I'll take it, though. :)

    Part of that was a Bama scoring a touchdown, recovering a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, then tacking on a field goal. It went from 17-16 Tech to 27-17 Bama in no time. Tech came right back with a touchdown to close within three. The Hokies didn't play anywhere near their best game, got outgained 498-155, fumbled five times (losing two), etc. And they still had a chance to win the fourth.

    The Miami win was impressive, but the win vs. Nebrasaka was a fluke. Maybe not a fluke, but an unlikely finish, fr sure. I do think Nebraska is a good team, though.
