Someone besides Spurs win title, the NBA is fixed.

Spurs sport a pretty regular-season record in December, and it's "The NBA is fantastic!"

I never said most of what you just attributed to me.
I only started following the Spurs closely when I moved to S.A. 3 years ago.
So I hardly have reason to live and die with the Spurs.

You guys are true to the media perception.
Adjust quotes as you see fit, and as your story dictates.

Unlike both of you, I respect your right to think whatever you think.
Eat shit if you can't do the same.

Best free agent signing of the year: Amar'e Stoudemire.

The Knicks are relevant again, the Garden is rocking again because Stoudemire is playing out of his mind -- 9 straight 30+ point games and given another .2 seconds, it would be 9 straight Knicks wins.

Speaking as a lapsed Knick fan who has started to pay attention to the NBA for the first time in years, I'll agree 20 games into multi-year deals, but you're deluding yourself if you mean that seriously for the long term.

I don't understand what you mean by the long term, guy.

Right now, I don't think Amar'e and Melo are a good pairing.

I believe he's insinuating that Stoudamire's injury history will lead him to break down and make that contract an albatross by the end of it.

Only on days that end in "y".

plus he can't play a lick of defense.

Defense has never been part of D'Antoni's gameplan. His style is we will outscore you.

I understand that but Amare needs to play at least adequate defense and he should be a better rebounder than he is. having said all that, he is one hell of an offensive player

And his style is also we will fail in May. D'Antoni ball is fun in December, but ain't built for playoff time.
