The Badgers might somehow avoid having the most humiliating performance by a Wisconsin basketball team this weekend. The Bucks trail 64-39 in Boston...with 10 minutes to go in the game. Twenty-two in the first half, not much better in the second.

As much fun as I had trolling my crestfallen Bulls fans friends on the night James went to the Heat, I have some serious comeuppance coming if the Bulls win the conference, and I think they just might.

As a staunch Washington Bullets/Wizards fan since the days of Elvin Hayes, Wes Unseld, Bobby Dandrige, etc., I refuse to indulge the Wizards' efforts to discover new ways to be embarrassing. The chin-up pretty much symbolizes what they're about right now, and a lousy reflection on Flip Saunders, who I like.

Heat in the process of losing at home to OKC. Big 3 are 2-for-17 in the second half with six to play.

Interesting stat line of the night:

Mr. Candace Parker: 16 minutes, 0-1 0 pts, 3 rebounds, 6 fouls. Thanks for showing up, Shelly.

Oh, and it says a lot about the NBA to me that I had to go page four to find this thread.

He actually played very good defense at times.

Magic got screwed on two bad calls -- an uncalled trip by Carmelo and a phantom 6th foul on Howard.

Cavaliers....wow. Game is very close to getting away from the Heat.

Cavs up 12 with 2:45 left. Might want to tune into this one.

I think it actually says more about sj than the NBA. There aren't a ton of diehard NBA fans on here, which is fine, although many of the biggest critics probably bemoan the thugs and style of play while admitting the last time they watched a game was 2001 or when Magic was battling Bird. The NBA's ratings are up, there's more good young talent in the league than in about 15-20 years and the playoffs - especially when it gets to the semis of each conference - should be fantastic.

Of course they'll then have the lockout and the league will be screwed. And this thread will be on page 50.

LeBron ducked pregame intros tonight, apparently. Didn't come out when his name was introduced, only appearing after the lights went down to introduce the Cavs.

Also, there's nothing quite like listening to Austin Carr during a big Cavs win. My god.

LeDouche and his entourage tried to get into the VIP parking underneath the stadium and was turned away.

Security guard should be given a raise.

Looking forward to a Lakers-Mavs series after they did a little scuffling last night.
Are Spurs fans worried? First five-game losing streak since '97 after losing at home to Boston, which has been playing pretty meh lately (and wouldn't you know it? Jermaine O'Neal comes back just in time to watch Nenad Krstic go down with a knee injury).

When Rondo has a game like he had last night, the Celtics are pretty close to impossible to beat. I never place any stock in late season NBA games as playoff indicators. Who knows which player cares how much that particular night?
