Fuck that. Bring your skates. A couple of more injuries and you might be able to suit up for the Pens.

If Crosby was playing you'd be fucked but if you wait long enough you might get in for $50. I'd keep the money and watch the game at Real Sports across the street.

He just doesn't feel like it often.

On a totally different note, god do I love watching Jamie Benn.

Except a few drinks at Real and you're out $50.00

If you wanted to wait till about halfway through the first you might get something for $50.00.

Minor news, but Red Wings extended Jimmy Howard's contract by two years. It's important as Osgood will retire in the next year or two, maybe sooner. Howard is their man -- for now. I REALLY hope they pursue a guy like Ryan Miller when the time comes. Michigan kid (er, Michigan State kid) coming back home? Whynot? His brother is here right now too...

One can dream, but the dream came true with Hasek years back and that was a team for the ages.

When is the last time the Wings have ever payed to have a top notch goalie? It is not their philosophy to lock up valuable cap space in that position. Ken Holland has flat out said this.

Yup. As exemplified by Vernon/Osgood, Wings sign goalies who don't lose them games. They don't win games a la Hasek but their system is so strong they don't need a big buck goalie back there.

I like Jimmy Howard. I think the Wings can win the Cup this year.

Leafs beat the Pens 3-2 in OT. Kessel was simply superb and Phaneuf's end to end rush to set up the winning goal was, well, Orr-like.

My boys are only 4 points out of a playoff spot. Bad news is they have the Flyers tomorrow night.

I ended up getting a pretty decent seat in 308 for $80.... would have been a lot better if the Pens could have pulled out two points but it was still a good time. Really nice arena and it was fun to be be surrounded by knowledgeable hockey fans.

308 is a pretty good section and $80.00 is fairly reasonable. Did you get them from a scalper outside?

I think they normally go for about $110.00

And the Leafs needed the two points more than the Pens. :)
