A great ad. According to Duncan, Raoul came out of his house and started yelling at them all to "get off my fucking street".

I'm not sure I'm a big advocate of the current format. Looks like the two athletes in the P.E. class divvying up the spoils at the beginning of class. Not sure what that really brings to the game.

But, admittedly, it might be worth it if Chris Pronger is picked last.

I imagine Ovi won't be picking Sid, and vice versa.

This brings back the game back far more to its roots than the outdoor games played in baseball parks

The All-Star game is about as exciting as watching a men's beer league game. Since it's basically a friendly, why not treat it like one?

I bet players would have more of a blast and there'd be even bigger bragging rights. The side bets would be in the thousands.

I'd even suggest that there be no refs. Offsides and icings on the honour system would really make it like a game of shinny.

Play two games to ten goals each At the end of the first game, choose 'em up again

Black and white jerseys. No logos.

And at the end of the game, some woman would come on the screen and yell, "Sidney, time for dinner" :)

    A guy can dream.

Starting to like the idea the more you talk about it, JR.

Also, big Southeast Division tussle tonight between the Caps and 'Ning. Stamkos is on fi-yah for the Bolts.

Whalercanes going outside the division, but little gets me more worked up than the Flyers, who are coming to the ESA tonight.

Really though they should let the captains pick from the entire league, not just the 46 or however many players are selected by the fans/gms etc. See if one of the captains picks a Sean Avery or Steve Ott just to stir up shit. That I would like to see.

Oh my god. Karl Alzner's mustache is something to behold.

This is brilliant for anyone who's grown up with the game

Was watching a couple of games online tonight and caught an interview with Shanahan

He was trying to explain to an interviewer who didn't get it by saying (I paraphrase) "It would be the ultimate pick-up hockey game"

    Amen

Guys will play competitively if there's a damn Big Mac Combo on the line.

Well there's been a car on the line to go to the game's MVP for as long as I can remember and it hasn't made a big difference.

I do however, like what they are doing, make it interesting to the players involved, make it something they want to take part in.

Hell, losers have to drink a beer each from the skate of an opposing player.

Dustin Brown is a diving punk. How have I missed this part of his game until now?
