I love the All-Star game idea. I'm going to guess the captains will pick the players in private though, so no one gets shown up. I also think the two captains will be Ovi vs. Crosby. It would be beyond absurd if they weren't, actually.

Alexander Semin is on fire these days. Another hat trick last night. Five points in all. He has something like 12 points in the last week or so. Hmmm, it IS a contract year for him, and the Caps aren't likely to hold on to him after this season. That said, if he keeps this up... I think the Caps are playing a better all around game of hockey right now. Especially compared to even their best last year. Plus Nuevirth in the net has been pretty damn good.

Another strong performance by Carey Price last night against the Bruins. He's allowed one goal during his last two games. He's seeing the puck really well as of late.

In his OHL days he was better known as either Divin' Dustin or Fall-down Brown.

    Good showing.

Get beat 8-1 two days after winning 7-1 against Edmonton.

Simmons is spot on with his assessment of Burke and the Leafs

I heard the draft is going to be televised on Friday night. And see Shanahan's comments on my earlier post. Except for the guys chosen #1, everyone will think they should have been picked higher.

That honestly might be the worst game I've seen the Canucks play in 3 years, the Leafs are beyond terrible. Wow, Burke has sold a bill of goods to the "best fans in hockey". At least they have a bunch of young talent to look forward to, oh wait....

I wonder how light the bandwagon in Chicago is now.

You win a cup, there is no bandwagon. It's a salary cap world, what were they supposed to do?

I should have rephrased that somewhat snarky question as how much lighter is the bandwagon? As a Blackhawks fan, I understand but I don't know if the casual person does.

My bad, they still have some of the best talent in hockey. Fuck the casual fan!
