Mike Richards is acting like a little bitch since PK Subban got under his skin last Monday.

He keeps saying that PK has to get respect before talking smack. Well, sorry to tell you Richards but you were the same way when you first came into the league.

These two teams faces each other again on Monday, and I do hope Richards and Subban drop the gloves. I also hope that Price will be able to shut them out again.

Richards has a tendency to act that way, both through and against the media, so there's no surprise there. And as much as I hate the guy, he will fight, and he and Subban will fight on Monday if Subban man's up and agrees to go. Not sure if he will, though.

Price has been stunningly good this year. Maybe he really did just need there to be no competition to get comfortable. But, there have been plenty of great goaltenders in October and November, his true test will come in April.

I do hope Richards decide to drop the gloves. Subban wanted to fight him on Tuesday night but the refs stepped in. I think PK can hold his own against him.

Price is arguably the best goalie in the NHL right now, I'd say he's top three.

I do agree that the first two months don't really mean all that much, but it's great to see him playing well. I've always had confidence in Price, he hasn't played well during the last few seasons, but he's shown signs that he can be a good goalie. I was happy when Gauthier decided to trade Halak and keep Price for the future.

The best thing is that Price is seeing the puck really well, and he has all the confidence in the World right now. Has a Canadiens fan, I do hope he'll be able to keep it up.

Am I the only one that believes Carey Price is becoming one of the best goalies in the NHL?

I am not sure if he's going to see this, but what are your opinions Elliotte? You were there last night, so you got a better view.

Another strong showing by Price and the Canadiens last night, they were able to beat the Kings 4-1.

Lots of accusations after last night's Penguins-Rangers game that Crosby slew-footed a couple of Rangers. Of course, there are differing opinions on each side. Having seen a replay during the game of the first occurrance, it looked incidental, but I can see where there's a definite grey area. The second one was on Avery, and I haven't seen any video of that.

Meanwhile, the Pens win, 3-1, making them 9-0-1 in their last 10, they key being Marc-Andre Fleury finding his game in goal.

Caps make a strong trade for a stay-at-home defense type -- Fleischman for Colorado's Scott Hannan. Nice move. They were trying to move Fleischman for a bit anyway. Caps needed some experience to throw back on the blue line with Alzner, Carlson and Green.

Solid move, definitely helps bolster the Caps backend. Was a move they were going to have to make sooner or later. They had a glaring need for a Hannan type defenceman.

I like them making the move early, kind of like last year when they dealt Clark for Chimera. Gives Hannan more time to build chemistry with a young group. I never felt like Corvo or Belanger fit in last spring. Just not enough time to get accustomed to the system, etc.

The move also tells me they really like what they've seen so far out of Marcus Johannson. Little bit of a slow start, but that's to be expected for a kid who played in Sweden last year.

Don't look now, but the defending champs are starting to heat up.
