2010-2011 NHL season

The only guys seemingly scoring right now are the grinders like Steckel, Laich and Bradley and the AHL guys (Beagle, Perrault -- who I really like).

 

i know it's still early but how the heck did the stars get to the top (or next to top) of the western conference?

 

I just read that Ovechkin has just 2 goals in his last 18 games?? I knew he was in a dry spell but geez. Hard to fathom.

Should be a hell of a game tonight. Pens recalled Dustin Jeffrey today so looks like somebody could be sitting down tonight.

 

Aaron Asham's dinged. That's who Jeffrey would replace.

 

The damn Pens/Caps game isn't on TV up here. But I can watch the Whalercanes and Montreal.

Will watch Sid et al online.

Now I'm a huge Sid the Kid fan but this piece by Scott Russell on cbc.ca makes me want to puke. Talk about over the top

Sidney Crosby glitters like gold because of what he does on the ice. This puckish, Pittsburgh Penguin star is considered to be a Canadian treasure. And in the Christmas celebration of 2010, Crosby's gift to the game still creates a sense of wonder.

 

Is it the actual episode or the bleeped version?

 

An incredible improvement in goaltending, a deep group of skilled forwards who are producing in the system provided to them, and a bit of a dressing room purging.

 

Well of course the swear words are edited out but it's the complete episode -- almost an hour. I was kinda suprised they were able to have it all on there. I figured HBO would be douchebags about it.

 

I'll wait till it comes out on DVD. I don't want the sanitized version.

 

Russell was my Grade 9 history teacher. Fact.
