4th or 6th based on how many games Lupul plays next year.

    PK Subban is a moron.

Not sure what that came from but he's not. He's a gregarious kid (ask Huggy) who I've watched since his junior days with Belleville. He pisses some people off (hello, Mike Richards) because they think he's not deferential enough. Guy can flat out play.

Subban just needs to STFU. Milan Lucic should flatten him and his mouth.

But, that aside, the Montreal-Boston game was interesting to watch. Especially the goalie non-fight between Price and Thomas. Not really a fight in my book.

If you want to find a throwback game, tonight's Bruins-Canadiens game is it.

Can't wait to read the statsheet on this one.

    14 goals, 158 PIM's. What a game.

I kinda like P.K. Subban, and that was before he pirated some guy's sweater in Raleigh.

Gotta like a game with 14 goals and two line brawls.
Thomas and Price were just trying to impress their teammates.

Oz, Steckel did NOTHING intentional in that game. Nothing. And Crosby was so hurt he came out and played the next game. Going after Steckel, he of something like 20 PIM all season, is a joke.

Ovi has been in at least one fight this year. He's not afraid to drop the gloves, even if it's not his job to.

Good for the NHL cracking down on Cooke. I still think someone is going to clock him with a hit dirtier than anything he's doled out yet.

Steckel's shoulder bumped Crosby in the head because Crosby did the equivalent of jumping in front of a moving train. Steckel's elbow is down by his ribs and there's no indication an intentional hit, let alone follow through. The only player guilty of a penalty on that play is possibly Crosby, who inadvertently committed a very weak interference by setting a pick on an already-moving Steckel. Crosby is the one who altered his original path, and therefore he is responsible for the ensuing contact.

God, why can't Penguins fans get over a play that was a big fat nothing? If they want to be mad at someone, be mad at Crosby or the Pens medical staff for failing to diagnose a simple concussion that about 95 percent of viewers made from their couches at home. They were stupid enough to clear him for the next game and its their own damn fault he's still out.

As for Cooke, he's probably the dirtiest, or at least the most actively malicious, player in the NHL right now. I think he knew full well what he was doing on Ovechkin, and he certainly knew better than to throw that hit on Tyutin (the always fun combination of charging and boarding with a possible checking from behind on top of it).
