And there may be more Subbans on the way. PK's brother is a goalie with the Belleville Bulls. Huggy's seen him and says he's big and freakin' good and he's only 16

I understand there's another brother who plays AAA hockey as well.

Subban's brother Malcolm is a late 93 and he won't be draft-eligible until 2012. I have seen him twice and even though he is only six feet, he plays much bigger. Very quick too.

Mr. Carrie Underwood gets dealt to the Preds: http://predators.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=552260

I'm sure the missus is thrilled.

I would guess Malcolm Subban is a lot bigger than 6'0 from seeing him in person, he's got good size for a goaltender. I watched him in Belleville's camp last year and thought he outshone Tyson Teichmann (their No. 1 pick that year, a really highly touted goaltender) by a long margin. Nice to see this season he seems to have earned his due.

A lot of people I've talked to say the youngest, Jordan, is probably the most talented of the three brothers and he will be a high pick himself down the road.

As for P.K. I'm still not high on his defensive awareness at times and his ability to take bad penalties, but he can be a fun player to watch.

I've seen Malcolm twice live - like RedCanuck thought he was much bigger than six feet - and he was tremendous both times. From what I can gather has really outplayed Teichmann. Belleville has Daniel Altshuler in their system and I heard he was terrific for Ontario at the World Under-17 in Winnipeg. Pretty good problem for George Burnett to have, you wonder if he will move Teichmann, a local guy, or Subban the younger brother of one of the best players in Bulls' history.

For a first round pick in '11 but from what I've read, it's not a great draft year. No Crosby or Stamkos type players.

Fisher & Underwood will be royalty in Nashville. Also makes the Preds a better team--and they're already pretty good--5th in the confeence

I like the deal for Ottawa, they get the pick but they also get cap relief.

Circle March 8 in your calendar. Bruins at Montreal.

I'd say this is the longest and nastiest rivalry in the league right now. It's up there with Detroit/Avs back in the 90's but this one's been going on for 50 years. :)

Any bets on whether "The Star-Spangled Banner" gets booed at the Molson that night? I think we've reached that point again.

My Wings could really use Nabakov right about now. Howard is playing with the jitters, but injuries haven't helped. Datysuk is back, as is Homer. Stuart will be back soon. Let's do this winged wheels.

Unfortunately it probably will by a minority of morons.
