How can Lemieux possibly complain when Bylsma was let off the hook entirely? There's usually an automatic five-game suspension for the coach when one of his players jumps the bench.
And if the Islanders really were calling up guys from the minors to goon it up, how the hell did they get six goals ahead of Pittsburgh? Was it Haley's lasers from the blue line and deft touch in the slot? If they gooned it up like that all season, they'd be leading their division.

If anyone missed the Pens-Isles fiasco, here's a YouTube clip with all 17 minutes of shenanigans:

So please tell me why Haley was called up, they all but admitted it.

Lemieux can be both right and wrong. In this case, he's both.

He's right about the Islanders game being ridiculous. He's wrong for the tacit approval of Matt Cooke.

    Leafs looser fanboi here.

Toronto beats Boston 4-3 on two goals by Kessel and two by Grabovski who was hammered twice in the end boards by that puke Chara. And each time he got up, shook his head and went back to the bench. Guy is tough as nails

Mimico Mikhail (his g/f is from our parts and her cousin is a server at The Blue Goose ) scored the winner on a beauty top shelf goal.

James Reimer was solid in goal for the Leafs.

You can all now go back to your Pens rant. :)

Ottawa trades Kelley to Boston for second round pick. Nice trade for Bruins.

I was thinking the opposite. Nice trade for the Senators.

Maybe, but if Versteeg fetched a low first-rounder, you can at least make the argument that Kelly is worth a low second-rounder.

Jonas Hiller feeling dizzy again, put on injured list.

Maybe the Caps have a chance tonight then. Or maybe they'll shoot 40 pucks from the point, not work hard to get deep and not get in the dirty areas around the net and claim they were the victim of a hot goalie.

Yeah, I'm a frustrated fan right now.

Looser Leafs fanboi reporting for duty.

After going winless in their last seven games at the Sabres barn, the Team That Will Undoubtedly Make the Playoffs win 2-1.

Kessel had a goal, Reimer replaced Giguere after the first because JS can't shake off that "lower body injury".

So, if Reimer gets hurt and since Gustavsson can't play and since Rynnas (Marlie's back-up or back-up to the backup) is out, they're going to have to find the guy I talked to at the Goose tonight who's a goalie for two beer league teams to fill in
