SO what you're saying is he would have to consider being a goalie for a third beer league team :) I'm sure Western or UT or someone in the CIS has a goalie kicking around the Leafs could sign on an emergency basis. They couldn't be any worse than the Giguere/Gustavsson combo the Leafs have gone with most of the year.

Goaltending nightmare going on in Anaheim ... Ducks 6, Caps 6, about 6 minutes left. Wild stuff.

Semin with the hat trick, including the GWG. Caps 7-6. That was a crazy game.

If the Ducks are going to be forced to rely on McElhenny(sp?) for the rest of the season they are in trouble. I wonder how quickly Emry can be ready?

They don't know what's wrong with Hiller. Insist it isn't a concussion.

HC mentioned that the Marlies had to sign a guy from U of Manitoba or something when they were playing the Moose in the Peg earlier this week.

Reimer looks like the real deal. The Statue will take the job away from The Monster. :)

Ottawa and Denver swap goalies. Null for void.

Just to correct this. Claude Lemieux's cheap shot on Draper had nothing to do with Bertuzzi/Moore, which came years after.

No need to correct anything, I wasn't linking the two together. Just mentioned two separate incidents.

Darren Dreger is reporting the Leafs have sent Kaberle to the Bruins for the Bruins' first-rounder this year, plus Joe Colborne (their 2010 first-rounder) plus a conditional pick.

If that's confirmed, I'd say that's a hell of a deal for the Leafs.

    EDIT - Colborne was their 2008 first-rounder.

Bob McKenzie reports that "Conditional pick in Kaberle deal: 2nd rounder in 2012 if Kaberle re-signs in BOS or BOS makes Cup final."

EDIT: Confirmed by Leafs. Colborne reporting directly to the Marlies.

Interesting...wonder if another shoe drops at the Gahden. The hot rumor was Blake Wheeler being involved in the deal because he makes $2.2M and the Bruins have a pretty tight cap situation (why they practically gave away Marco Sturm to LA when Marc Savard came back).
