For the blues and and Johnson this is a cautionary tale of proper golf cart etiquette.

Souray has been placed on re-entry waivers by Edmonton.

Toronto Sun says the Caps are shopping forward Alexander Semin these days. I'm cool with that.

    Missing the point.

It doesn't help anyone to post three words: Brewer to Lightning (or whatever).

Got to believe this is a move to get him back into the NHL so he can be traded. No way he ever suits back up for the Oilers. Good chance he does move if teams don't have to worry about losing him on re-entry waivers. If someone does decide to pick him up on re-entry waivers then the Oilers lose a nagging headache -- don't get anything for him, but he would be gone for good. Only reason I can figure a team would wait for him to cross back over into the NHL instead of plucking him off the wire is so they can shed a bad contract in the process, especially with one year remaining on Souray's contract.

Understood. I also didn't make the original post. Thought I would help out by filling in the blanks regardless.

What personal issues? (Seriously, not trying to start anything here).

Just read Terry Frei, who just called it a fall from grace considering how good Anderson was last year with the Avs. IMO, the Avs are screwing themselves with this one. I've seen enough of Anderson and, while I'm no Terry Frei or a fraction as knowledgeable as our Canadian friends on the board, he's usually rock solid. Not necessarily a Vezina threat, but far from some stiff stealing paychecks.

Ducks have given up 21 goals in the past 3 games. Hiller obviously was covering up other deficiencies.

Devils win again. They might actually make a serious run at the eighth spot.

Anderson was great last night in Otttawa's 1-0 shoot-out win over the Leafs

However, as HC pointed out it looked like a Timbits game----lots of activity, not much happening. (Tmbits minor hockey is sponsored by Tom Horton's and is for kids 4 to 8 years old. Their most famous grad is Sid the Kid

Ottawa, even when they were good, have always had goaltending issues since the beginning of the franchise (well, THIS incarnation, not the one with One Eyed Frank McGee)
