No grudge, he's miles better than his predeccesor, and unlike Larue, actually knows how to use modern technology. I just don't like the tone that he has chosen to take in much of recent writing.

That is a ridiculous defense of the Bedard trade.

Hell of a play by the Tiger's third baseman.

Dives to his right to snare a sharply hit ground ball, and from his knees, throws out A-Rod at first.

Strasburg has given up no hits through six innings in his second AAA start. That means he's given up one hit in 12 AAA innings thus far.
So now I'm going to go all spnited on everyone: FUCKING BRING THE FUCKING GUY THE FUCK UP ALFUCKINGREADY. FUCK.

I understand the finances and I understand the decision to start him in the minors. Now? Next Saturday vs. the Orioles at Nats Park. No ifs, ands or buts. Bring his ass UP.

Nats are half a game out of the WC.

Was just about to post this.

Is Sutcliffe the announcer on ESPN tonight? Just criticized the Nats for keeping him down. "All about money."

Is he done for the night, or are they bringing him back out for the top of the 7th? I was going to try to tune in and listen at work, but I lost track of time.

And I agree: Time for him to head to the Show.

    Yes, that's Sutcliffe.

He has a point - to a point. It's so early and to say the Nats are in contention is still pretty laughable. But who would have thought 19-15 at this point? They're not doing it with smoke and mirrors. Capps and his 14-14 nonsense (and maybe Livo) is the only one really playing over his head and maybe he isn't?. A couple of their key guys haven't really done shit.
So maybe - just maybe? That's why you get him up NOW. It's a changed game.

Let me add one more - Pudge ain't hitting .400 this year. But the effect he's had on a lot of their pitchers is amazing. I was skeptical but he's turned out to be a good signing for them.

The NL is so weak this year, everyone is in it.

Top 7, Strasburg pulled for Drew Storen. A mighty impressive outing.
