He just got another hit. I chose Quentin over him in fantasy. Brilliant move.

Welcome Back, Scherzer: Strikes out 14 in 5.2 innings today against Oakland. Also threw 113 pitches in that span.

    Jake Peavy sucks.

He's holding his hands appreciably lower, while awaiting the pitcher's
delivery. Coaching staff suggested it. It's working.

Thanks. I was wondering about that.

In other news, Kenshin Kawakami came into today's game with the Pirates at 0-7. Not surprisingly, he's throwing a shutout and nearly missed a HR a few minutes ago. Jesus Christ ... (the sane) part of me wants to quit this team and become a Nats fan.

Jayson Nix just hit a grand slam off James Shields. 7-3 Sox. Peavy will still fuck it up.

Do it quick. Once Jee-SUS arrives, the bandwagon is going to overflow.

And Cabrera hits his fourth HR of the series (eight RBIs in the series) to help that.

Before the series, Cabrera had missed four days (two games, two off days) with the birth of his second daughter.

    Jason Heyward is fucking incredible.

Hits big two-run triple in the eighth today ... now hitting .301/.421/.596 on the year. If this isn't the greatest offensive rookie season ever, especially given his age, it's got to be damn close.

Finally. Some common ground. We both made the same stupid mistake in fantasy baseball.
