No question, they weren't great when Boston was in last week.

Starlin Castro is the first MLB player born in the 1990s, btw.

This means that not only can Starlin Castro make me feel old, he can make my CHILDREN (born 1984 and 1988) feel old!

If Cretaceous-era Jamie Moyer faces Castro, he'll have pitched to a guy born in 1942 (Tony Perez) and one born in 1990.

I have a feeling he'll get hit pretty hard in one of his next two starts. He's due for that.

So Fox decided to have a half-inning (?) of silence for Harwell and Robin Roberts during the Yanks/Sawx game, here at the top of the 3rd.

Are the other regional games on Fox doing the same thing??

Phils-Braves got about a third of an inning of silence. I read somewhere that all the Fox day games were doing it.

Don't know, but if ESPN could expand that idea to a nine-inning tribute on Sunday night, I'm sure it'd be well received.

You mean to tell me you're not spending five hours with the Yanks and Sox?

Dear Ken Rosenthal, and anyone who ripped umpire Joe West,

This fucking game should have ended an hour ago. The big guy was right, you nerdy ass punks. The Sawx and Yankees need to be forced to speed the game up.

    Signed,

    Baseball fans with common sense
