And he coaches basketball at a better program at a better school in a better league in a better city where HIS sport is king and the 1-AA football porgram is an afterthought.

Thanks Luit for the Kennedy info. He sounds like someone who could move up the ladder.

Scott Drew to Iowa City. Interesting, but I'll ask this: is he willing to leave a program that he single-handedly brought from the dead and is now showing its moxie in the Big 12?

Any idea what the Iowa job would pay? He's pulling down a boatload of money at Baylor.

Iowa would pay -- at the very least -- 2-3 hundred k more than Baylor. Just my thought.

And Drew wouldn't have to live in Waco anymore.

You think Iowa would pay a million-and-a-half?

Waco makes Iowa City look like Chicago.

With as many fat cats like Dick Jacobson and Bill Krause that pump $$ into Iowa's coffers, I can see Iowa ponying up about $1.5 to $2 mill/year for the new guy. Ud Iowa fans and Barta want the program to have relevance again, it's time to pay up.

Carver-Hawkeye needs a face-lift, they need a practice facility for Bluder and her girls and the men's team, and in terms of a PR standpoint, a major makeover overall.
