Question: Does making the NIT (or a win at Memphis) save Roberts?

A win at Memphis might save Norm.

Apparently some things are going down in Arkansas tonight.

Per Wally Hall of the Arkansas Dem-Gaz: "Wow, things are moving and shaking late into the night. Nothing is certain right now for UA basketball. Nothing. Other than Rotnei returns."

Per Mark Lericos of the local ABC affiliate in Northwest Arkansas: "There is a lot happening behind the scenes with Hog basketball. Some if it would blow your mind. not good."

As for the random rumors I've heard floating around Fayetteville: Fortson is going to play pro ball in Europe, Marshawn Powell and Rotnei Clarke are considering tranferring, current players have been clearly ignoring plays called in the huddle by Pelphrey, and former players and boosters are putting big pressure on AD Jeff Long to can Pelphrey, but Long is squarely in Pel's corner.

If Pelphrey is ousted at Arkansas any chance Dana Altman would take the job?

(Sorry, not even funny ... just couldn't stop myself. The Hogs are too much fun.)

I was just thinking three weeks ago how Lutz had saved his ass at Charlotte. Guess if you can't count they figure you gotta go.

Looks like Iowa has called a press conference about the basketball team this afternoon, according to AP. That's probably it for Todd Lickliter.

I have nothing against him, and hope he regains his health. As D-III Fan said on another thread, sometimes it just doesn't work out.

And Alford sure left one helluva mess behind when he left for New Mexico.

I am a huge Montana fan this week. Fuck Steve Alford.

Wasn't Alford's Iowa team with Horner and Brunner a No. 3 seed when it lost to NW State?

I hope history repeats for Alford. Go Grizz!

Rumors flying about Mark Gottfried and James Dickey are joining Pelphrey's staff at Arkansas. This might explain why Gottfried was overly complimentary of Pel during Arkansas' loss to UGA in the SEC tournament.

Coco and Armchair, here is the livestream on the Lick presser. He will not be there, the kids are on spring break. Barta will be the only one talking.
