Micro, I didn't know that Cross has some "issues" on his way out the door:

Liut, give me a read on Billy Kennedy. I haven't heard his name before.

Agrees that Snyder should be back in coaching. Preferably in South Florida.

Was thinking earlier today, for no good reason, that Jay Wright would be a good hire for Iowa.
That's a coach who knows what he's doing and would be wildly successful there.
I just don't know if he's of the mind to leave 'Nova.

There are some nutjobs out here who think Nike can lure Jay Wright to Oregon, once Ernie Kent is finally fired.

Why would Wright take a step backward?

    Because Iowa plays BCS football?

    That's all I got.

He's now taken two mid majors, Southeastern Louisiana and Murray State, to the NCAA tournament. Was an assistant at Cal; recruited Abdur Shariff Rahim? (please forgive the spelling). Anyway, the guy the Grizzlies lived on in Vancouver.

I got to know him covering SE La., and would bump into him recruiting the JUCO leagues. Personable, self-deprecating fellow. Real good guy.

  12. What about Scott Drew at Iowa?
