2010 NASCAR running thread

    If they have to get to the airport or otherwise head up the road, then they had no choice but to leave then. Remember, the race should be over already.

    Right. But it's a plate race, you should budget in some kind of delay for a massive wreck or whatever. NASCAR could start these things at 10 a.m. and still manage to finish some under the lights.

    Not much you can do about it, I guess.

    But the absolute last thing NASCAR needed was another Daytona 500 marred by a weather-related problem.

    I'm hoping they can finish this.

    Then again, I'm one of the 1.6 percent of the ESPN NASCAR Challenge folks with Clint Bowyer, so perhaps this race ending early wouldn't be such a bad thing.

    Related topic: Why does Bowyer constantly get ignored? He's every bit as good as Burton and Harvick, if not better.
