They lost me when the inaugural five-man class was 40 percent France family.

Completely agree. No disrespect whatsoever toward Bud Moore, but in before the Wood Brothers? Someone is asleep at the switch.

I also had a problem with Bill France Jr. ahead of David Pearson. Jr. would get in at some point - I mean, someone will find a weak excuse to get Brian France eventually in spite of his feeble attempt to fix something that was never broken - but ahead of Pearson? Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I'm not surprised about the poor attendance figures. Why pay $20 to see the Hall of Fame and its 10 measly inductees so far when you can tour the Hendrick, Roush, Penske, etc. shops for FREE? I was considering visiting Charlotte this summer. I saw how much it cost to visit the Hall of Fame and immediately crossed it off my list.

Derrike's Cope's twin nieces make their NASCAR debut in the Camping World Truck Series.

Let's hope they drive better than Derrike. They certainly look much better.

They should be sponsored by Clorox - with rear-deck shoutout to Snooki.

We'll see how they do Saturday. Martinsville is a tough place for any driver, and they'd be best served to stay out of the way of Kyle Busch. Shrub probably won't show them much sympathy as he's lapping them.

    As he's what?? ;D

'bout as close as you'll ever see Gordon get, I'd say. Burton turned him (accidental...but looked bad), tore Gordos car up. Neither went to the ambulance, Burton walked up to explain....Gordon shoves him, they started wrasslin'....
It wasn't Cale & Donnie, but pretty angry stuff, for Gordon in particular...

Didn't think he had it in him!

    Two other interesting developments:

    Kyle Busch's hand-puppet display

Is the 48 team really going to send its pit crew to the showers?
