Now that Stoudemire has committed to New York, why not Chris Bosh to Phoenix? He and Nash would go nicely together.

They already signed the great Hakim Warrick. Though, with Nash he probably will be a lot better.

Damn, I wish this would all end, just so I wouldn't have to listen to ESPN's Chris Broussard overemphasizing every soft 'O' syllable.

But our nation's birthday is July 5th this year because some people have to work on July 4. {crossthread]

There's also the issue of what Phoenix would give up for Bosh in a S&T. You'd almost certainly have to include Jason Richardson plus at least another player to make the salaries match. I don't really see Toronto wanting to pay Richardson 13-14 million for a one year rental just to ensure Bosh gets extra cash.

This stuff is confusing to me, but I *think* Phoenix would just have to send back enough to keep them under the cap, since both teams are already under it. Phoenix would need to send back something like $6.5 million or so.

Didn't realize Phoenix was that far under the cap. I still don't think they have a lot of assets that Toronto would want. If they had to send back $6.5 million, Barbosa would really be the only asset that fits. Decent player, but I'd imagine that other teams could make better offers.

I think the team that gets Wade will be better than the team that gets James.

I also think Wade plus Rose and Noah will beat out James and Amare and anyone but Bosh if it plays out that way.

How does that figure? If Wade goes back to Miami which he will, and James goes back to Cleveland, unless the Heat get Bosh, which isn't all that likely since Miami can only offer Beasley, that statement is false on all counts. Boozer doesn't make Miami better than Cleveland especially since he won't play in 30 games.

I'd laugh my ass off if after all this LeBron stays in Cleveland.

He's saying he'd take the Bulls with a core of Wade, Rose and Noah over the Knicks with a core of LeBron and Amare. I'm not so sure, but I also think if Wade comes, someone else (Bosh perhaps?) is coming too.
