It wouldn't be the first time ESPN has thrown one of its reporters under the bus while protecting a show or something along those lines.

This. ESPN has been hilariously bad going back and forth during this whole process while Yahoo has been pretty right on about everything. Funny stuff.

I just love that when all the dust settles it won't be two major market teams that get better.

If the best four teams in the NBA were the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks and the Bulls, it would be pretty disgusting.

Now, the best teams will be the Lakers, Celtics, Cavaliers, Magic, Heat. It'd be nice to have another top team in the west.

ESPN has too many people. If Broussard is reporting it, I believe it. The others are good, but not on his level. I definitely believe anything AWoj or Wetzel reports.

Yeah, but, after his second retirement, Jordan was pulling the old "Will he or won't he" thing when he was debating going to the Wizards. It was just as bad as LeBron, with day-in, day-out bullshit of "He's working out!" and "He's taking a crap!"

Then, just as the whole thing was reaching a crescendo, the Sept. 11 attacks happened, and the thought either occurred to him, or someone told him, "Right now, no one gives a crap about you. Decide already, and be quiet about the decision." And he decided with a written statement.

Or he could be like Brett Favre and do this every single year.

Are the Heat really one of the four best teams in the league with Bosh & Wade? I think they've got 8 or 9 million in cap room left if they sign Bosh & Wade. The only other rotation player left on the roster is Beasley. If Beasly matures this year, he could certainly be a big help, but everyone has indicated that the Heat are trying to dump him. With 8 or 9 million left, the Heat can sign two about average players. From there, the Heat need to round out the roster with minimum salary players.

I think it might take the Heat a couple of years to retool the roster around Wade & Bosh. It wouldn't surprise me if the Heat win a championship with that core, but I don't think that they are immediately one of the best teams.

Hopefully someone else finds out today and ruins the show for Lebron and ESPN.

ESPN will report anything it finds, even if they can't confirm it. If some idiotic blogger wrote that LeBron James would join a curling team, there's a chance that ESPN will mention it. I'll admit, it'd be a sight to see Wojnarowski and Wetzel outdo the people in Bristol.

Also, if ESPN knew where LeBron was going, they'd just report that it's a rumor and are awaiting confirmation. Of course, that confirmation would come during the "LeBron Saga: The Next Chapter" on Thursday night.

It's beyond me why reputable reporters would want to work for such a dishonest organization. It says a lot about the human condition.

I hope someone in Cleveland breaks it.
