More witty perceptive humor from Cowherd as usual (not).

If LBJ comes back, all he has to do is say the word and Delonte West will be shipped out to the Turdoslovakian Basketball Association.

The show will be called The Decision. Hopefully LeBron upgrades his website soon. Right now it's one step ahead of an old Geocities site.

Windhorst reports that it will likely be from a neutral city, not one of the teams courting him (Fargo? Zurich?).

    A comment on Windhorst's blog:

And Bissinger hasn't been sparing his co-author in his recent Twitter rants.

Shaq is a legendary tipper. I sat a few tables away from him at a LA Steakhouse one time and our waiter told us that he would usually tip about twice what the bill was.

I've heard Jordan is pretty good as well. I'm assuming LeBron has a rep for being cheap?

I'm looking at it from the Chicago side of things, not LeBron's. Your comment was - and has been - that everything he does won't be good enough for the Bulls fan base, which would presumably rip him every day on talk radio until he reached seven titles. Do you really think the Chicago fans would react that way?

    I absolutely can believe this.

Seriously - shouldn't you have to have won something behind the Ohio state boys basketball title before you have a ONE-HOUR special to announce what your next team is going to be?

What the fuck is going on in this world.

    Kaman-Gordon-Griffin-Davis-LeBron > LeBron+his current teammates in Cleveland.

Zippy chance he goes to the Clippers, but that's not an awful lineup.

Uhhhhh, are you being sarcastic about Jordan being a good tipper? I thought he was a legendarily BAD tipper.

He's the best player in the world, the most popular player in the world, the most recognizable player in the world, the top endorsement spokesperson in American sports, and has been surrounded by mediocre teammates all seven years in the league. He is also only 25 years old. And he has won something - the Eastern Conference.

This isn't tennis. This isn't golf. This isn't swimming where Michael Phelps can win six individual gold medals. It is not LeBron James' fault that he hasn't won an NBA title yet. If there's a market for this kind of press conference, then there's a market for it.

Not sure where all the vitriol (and not just from you, Zagoshe) about this press conference comes from. I'm not going to watch it, but obviously some people will.

Because this isn't a press conference.

    It is a made-for-tv-ESPN-handjob that's why.

And is he the best player in the world or the most recognizable player in the world?

I'd say Kobe Bryant would have something to say about both of those claims

Kobe is better than Lebron. No question.
