LeBron's supporting cast obviously had flaws. But the Cavs also obviously put a lot more talent around him the last two years. LeBron's basically been the same player - as far as overwhelming impact on the game - since 2006, certainly since 2007. They won 45 games in 2008. They've won 66 and 61 the following two years. LeBron's game stayed the same and it's a great game. But they vaulted to an elite team - and they were the favorites to win the title entering the last two postseasons - because the supporting cast improved.

Kobe's got him in FT%, though. I'll give you that.

No, please, go on. You're doing so well...

You forgot one major category, though. I'll let you figure it out.

No, please. Enlighten me. I mean, you're obviously the expert and all. Go ahead and fill me in on how Kobe is better than LeBron. I mean, you "co-signed" to it and all. I mean, it clearly has nothing to do with ... you know ... the individual art of playing basketball.

Is anyone else troubled by the fact that a so-called sports news network -- ESPN -- would rather get in bed with LeBron James than work to break the story of where he is signing?

I mean, shouldn't ESPN be working round the clock to break this news?
