    Danny Granger wiki:

And there have been a couple jabs on there at the local talk radio show, one saying that Granger is a member of The Really Big Show.

Wojnarowski really doesn't like LeBron and friends.

He gets a little over the top here (OK, more than a little), but I always like to see bile spat the way of people like "Worldwide!!!!" Wes and "Maverick!!!!" Carter.

Fellow Laker fans, join me in my delight that these idiots hold no sway over Kobe and his teammates. Just great to watch these Uber hangers-on try to manipulate the league, and wait for Stern (possibly through a lockout) to squash them like bugs.

EDIT: More porn for Lakers wonks.

Is it just me or is anyone else surprised to find out that Leon Rose is an old, white dude?

The Lakers, meanwhile, have quietly put together a really nice offseason. Blake, I think, will be a big improvement over Farmar. And Barnes should be a good addition. Even Ratfliff's decomposing body is at least an upgrade over whatever Mbenga gave them the last few years.

  8. I say this as a huge fan of Adrian....

It's time for him to give it a rest with LeBron. He's been roasting him since the season ended. It's getting really old. We get it, Adrian. You don't like him or the people around him. Move on to something else.

There's quite a book waiting to be written about this World Wide Wes character. Seems like he's alleged to have his hands on damn near every big thing that's happened in hoops the last couple years. Yet it still ain't all that clear who he is, how he got there, and how much of the shit said about him is true. Somebody needs to unravel and tell that story.

  10. the thing with Adrian is what he's writing is getting dangerously close to slander and libel......on this column alone, he's alleging that James is trying to control paul's career, that wes is trying to control paul's career, and yet all he has as proof is a single tweet from lebron saying do what's best for you and your family. For all we know, lebron could be saying go back to new orleans.

Yes these guys are friends, but they're competitors as well. with lebron wanting titles, you think he's going to go, "hey chris go to new york with amare, and while you're at it, get carmelo next year so you guys are capable of beating us in miami.".....somehow I don't think so.

Columnists have a lot more freedom than writers. But Wojo's been lobbing accusations at James and his character for a solid four months, without a single quote from a source on the record backing up what he's writing. If James, or Wes, or Carter decided to take legal action, Adrian would be in trouble.

This is Woj's way .... get on the high horse, beat it to death and then just keep beating it.

LeBron has moved to No. 1 on his list, just ahead of Calipari.

I agree that Adrian is perhaps flogging James a bit much now, but these two sentences are ridiculous. Please brush up on American libel law. This is not bloody England. How exactly does James, Worldwide Wes or Maverick Carter go about proving their reputations suffered serious harm because of something Woj wrote?

I'd love to see a trial where someone named Worldwide Wes tried to argue it was false that he was not trying to orchestrate trades from behind the scenes, and thus, everything Woj wrote about him was false, and thus fitting the definition of libel.
