was he signed as a free agent by someone and stick? if not, it just shows the nfl doesn't go by combine numbers alone, which would actually be encouraging.

ended up a back-up in the CFL last season, but I think the Bills brought him to camp before that.
I would think teams are starting to get leery of the combine because so many players have learned to tweak the system. Instead of working on being a good football player, they spend the time between the end of the season and the Combine, learning how to get a faster start in the 40, taking sample tests, learning to interview, etc.

Workout wonders and no mention of Tony Mandarich?
    This place is slipping.

Mandarich was before combine became big deal and was already a big name going into draft. There are plenty just like him. About 10 years earlier John Hicks comes to mind- an Outland trophy winner and Giants first round pick.

Ask old time Cardinal fans about Clyde Duncan and Anthony Bell.

As a BC guy, Mike Mamula was the first guy who came to mind.

SI wrote a big article about how he, "trained specifically for the combine." Sounds obvious now, but I guess it was new back when he did it.

If I recall, he had a decent run with the Eagles, but should have never gone as high as he did. But boy, what a game he had against Notre Dame.

Half of the female TV news/sports personalities did beauty pageants & hell, Scott Brown posed nude.

As long as she keeps them separate, I don't see a problem with this.

Besides, it's a competition photo. It's not like she's got drunken/naked facebook photos of herself. Body building competitions are legitimate.

Like any athlete/former athlete, who lists their sporting feats on their resume, it shows hard work and
    determination.

Edit: the people who think Boom & I are the same person will be convinced that our disagreement is all designed to throw them off.

    Style question: Combine or combine?

That's a tricky one. You could go either or.

Technically, it's the National Invitational Camp or NFL Scouting Combine.
