Daniel Bryan did what every WWE fan wants to do to Cole.

I agree that it was a good promo, but my god, the crowd...

True. I admit, I've seen maybe 15 minutes of the entire series. But it never looks like any aspect of the show is getting over with the people anyway. Personally, I find the whole thing hard to digest. With Tough Enough, there was a chance the losers would be never heard from again. You know these guys will all end up on the show at some point, making the competition - where I don't think there's a set reward - worthless.

Plus, it's just another wrestling show, with a bunch of guys that I had never heard of, except for Danielson.

They would have been better off just showing their Florida training show each week. Those have their own storylines. Then, when the wrestlers move up, people will be more familiar with them.

I don't think I've ever seen any FCW show on TV. When the OVW was WWE's Triple A, it aired each Saturday night on local TV. Not sure if that would make for good national TV though.

Maybe, maybe not. The original ECW was a local show, that built up a national following. While FCW wouldn't be as exteme, they could try to build up a more old-school wrestling-based show (like ROH).

But for it to be effective, they can't make it seem like WWE-lite. That's what NXT is right now. Frankly, I rarely watch much of it, because it sucks.

If FCW and/or NXT is supposed to be the proving ground for WWE wrestlers, then they have to learn to work and promo in the WWE style. It would be like the Phoenix Suns' minor-league team running a four corners offense.

I do wish they'd show the program on their website.

And it can be argued that is another one of the WWE's problems. They have their own style and expect their wrestlers to conform to it. And that's why it seems like there's a sameness to their shows every week.

Go back 20 years, and wrestlers had their own style, honed through the territories. Sure, the WWF gave them their gimmicks, but the wrestlers could still work a match how they wanted to. Even in late '90s WCW, the cruiserweights could use different moves each and every week. Today, in the WWE, it's just a different combination of the same moves.

Danielson and Punk could put on a hell of a show if you gave them 20 minutes on TV. Instead, they would be cut down to five minutes, and they would do the same ten moves that they do each and every week.

Kofi just won the IC belt in the first match of Over the Limit. Now McIntyre is demanding Teddy Long give him the belt back. Instead, he gets Matt Hardy.
