Why would you bash the commentators for that? I mean, wasn't it a "surprise" attack on the Hart Dynasty? Why would the commentators know the names of the mysterious heel team that shows up, unscheduled, and attacks the champs?

I blame the commentators because they laid out the Hart Dynasty, and while they were doing it, and afterward, were never mentioned again.

Ah, that brings back memories. The 'banned' piledriver in Memphis.

I remember seeing Terry Funk piledrive Lawler about five times for an injury angle because Lawler did need some time off. You would have thought that Lawler's neck was actually broken.

A sentence that I never thought I would write:

Evan Bourne gets the pin on the main event of Raw.

Bourne did everything you could possibly hope for with that opportunity. Took a beating in the heat sequence like a champ, hit the kick to Sheamus' head setting up Cena's FU, then hit a picture-perfect shooting-star press to get the pin.

THAT'S how you hit it out of the park when given a chance.

And next week he'll be losing to Koslov in the opening bout.

Man, I hope they do something with Bourne. Yeah, he's small, and doesn't fit the WWE's idea of a top card guy at all. However, the crowd reaction he gets is simply insane, although it was a hot crowd in general last night. He has been jobbing for a couple months now, but still gets a great reaction, and his offensive arsenal looks so neat that I think he's credible against bigger opponents. And hey, with HBK gone, the WWE could use a guy in the upper tier who can sell like a mofo besides Jericho.

Not that I expect it, but wouldn't it be great to see Bourne in the Fatal Fourway?

They could sell Orton's injury more, and have a true underdog in the main event.

The other funny thing about last night's show was the reaction Santino got from the crowd. He had everyone chanting his name.

Yet, the WWE will find ways to continue to squash him.

Not that it would ever happen, but that could lead to an interesting feud between Cena and Bourne, too.
You have Bourne win the Fatal Four Way. He doesn't even have to "win" the match or pin Cena. Just an ending sequence where the other three guys are knocked out and he hits the shooting star press on one of them for the win and the title. Then you have Cena angling for a rematch since he gave Bourne his initial shot. You could have a face vs. face match at the MITB pay per view (where it wouldn't have to sell the PPV), or turn one of them slightly heel for a month or two.
    Sigh ... Dare to dream.

This could have laid the seeds for Bourne joining the match if Orton's injury keeps him out of it. It looks like Orton will be good to go, but if he's not, Bourne could be the replacement.

If not, I hope they do a Fourway for the U.S. title and put Bourne in it. Put that strap on him for a little while instead of R Truth.

  11. Still brings back memories to one of my favorite WWE moments.

haha, Man is it blatant when you can see evidence of it in a YouTube montage like that. Good times, good times.
