    Daniel Bryan released?!?

Unless this is some elborate work, the timing couldn't be more curious.

Meltzer/Alvarez reported that Danielson may have been released for choking announcer Justin Roberts with his tie at the Monday Night beatdown. The WWE thought it looked too violent:

If this is true, are they fucking kidding? All through the years, you had people getting choked with tag ropes, tape from their wrists, metal bars (with Vince choking out Steph), a hanging (Bossman from Hell in the Cell at WM), and various other chokings.

Meltzer/Alvarez do seem like they may think it's a work, too, though. Maybe Danielson's going to say that Bryan was fired, but Danielson isn't.

Leave it to the WWE to monumentally fuck up the most promising angle in years.

It's a work. Danielson said on his twitter he is no longer being called Daniel Bryan, but Bryan Danielson, and that the winds of change are coming.

PWTorch thinks it's a work too. Fire the guys in the attack and add a layer of realism to it. Early Russo, which wasn't bad in controlled doses. If Sheamus and Drew McIntyre fight in a Jameson On A Pole match, then they've gone too far.

Russo had his good moments and bad moments, but mostly bad in my opinion. He's one of the reasons why WCW was so bad at times.

None the less, this is probably the best angle they've had in the last five years, hopefully they don't screw it up. Like have HHH come back and save the day by himself.

Sad to say, I can definitely see that happening.

Trust me! It's the first thing that popped in my head.

What I find surprising is that the members from the first season of NXT attacked Cena/Punk/Gallows/King and others on Raw, they attacked the wrestlers at FCW, but you don't see any of them on Smackdown. Just seems weird to me. I thought they might of attacked Kane and declare that they're the ones that put Undertaker in a vegetable state. But we might see that in a few weeks or so. They just want to give Kane some lime light since he deserves it.

Should be interesting to see what happens next week on Raw. Cena was playing kayfabe on his Twitter and said that he had a mild concussion. I wonder if he'll make an appearance, my guess is yes, and hopefully he gets attacked again.

I just hope that when the NXT guys eventually explain why they did what they did that they say they're trying to become wrestlers and RAW is devoting time that could be spent on real wrestling with terrible gimmicks and stupid celebrity guest hosts.

It would be a great shoot for all the adult fans who have grown tired of this PG crap and would explain, in a big way, why they chose last Monday to attack. A bodyslam challenge? Khali and Hornswoggle as a tag team? A dance off?

If I were trying to become the next breakout star wrestler, that crap would piss me the hell off too.

It's pretty obvious that they made the first 2:45 of the show terrible because they knew how much of an impact the NXT invasion would be with the wrestling world. It's not the best way of doing it, but it's the WWE. Some of the writers are clueless.

It doesn't seem like they'll be getting away from the PG crap if the release of Danielson is true. He got let go for choking Roberts, come on? You serious WWE? You have midgits getting pounded till it looks like they are dead, you have a women getting an RKO, you have a wrestler running another wrestler over with a car, women being called "piggy". Then you freak because someone is getting choked with a tie? It's rediculous.

I will say, though, that image of Roberts getting choked out with the tie is the one that stays with me when thinking of that whole segment.

Roberts definitely sold it well, just like Cena sold the Sheffield closeline really well.

I think the thing that stuck out the most for me was when Danielson got in Cena's face and started to scream "You're not better than me" then he spit in his face and kick him in the back of the head. But the WWE edited out the spitting.

I also loved when CM Punk came back in the ring to try and get some of the NXT rookies, that was pretty cool.
