Wasn't his first win clean? He won a tables match.

Cena feel through a table on "accident" ... with Sheamus doing nothing to put him through it. Not exactly earning a victory.

Pretty fucking sad, though, that Jericho is the only established star willing to cleanly put over the new guys.

Jericho shows class while Cena, Trips, etc., are pathetic.

Surprsing results last night. I'm still mad about Mysterio winning the championship. Pretty much the WWE telling him here's the title now please sign a new contract with us. He doesn't deserve the title in my opinion, but that's just me. He wasn't even suppose to be in the match in the first place. He was the one who injured the Undertaker with his stupid finisher.

Glad Sheamus won the title, he's a good champion, one of the best heels in the company right now. He's only getting better as time goes on which is a great sign.

Alicia Fox winning the women's title makes no sense.

The Miz and Kingston retaining was expected, WWE are sort of down on Drew right now.

Hart Dynasty vs Rikishi's sons (Uso Brothers) and Jimmy Snuka's daughter wasn't announced so it was surprising to see them go at it. Pretty decent match none the less.

Match of the night was Jericho vs Bourne, which wasn't announced either. Both of these guys put on a hell of a show. Jericho putting Bourne over shows that he's one of the most important wrestlers in the business today. Not a lot of top not stars like Jericho would do that at a Pay Per View.

Overall a good Pay Per View hopefully NXT attacking Cena again means that Barrett and Cena will be feuding soon.

I'm kinda indifferent to Sheamus winning the title again. His first reign wasn't much, so I'd like to see if he does better this time.

But one thing I don't want is for Sheamus to be the leader of NXT. That's going to open the door to other guys joining, then you'll end up like the NWO with Virgil and Horace joining the group. Just keep the group to the NXT guys, and I'll be happy.

No clue why Mysterio is the new champ. Meltzer reported that he got booed at MSG, for some reason. I like him at lot as a contender, but he's not that good as a champion.

Is Jericho's contract running out soon? Otherwise, he seems to be losing a lot of matches lately. Still, I hope they'll do something with Bourne.

Edge would have made the logical choice for champion because being sneaky is his gimmick -- not Sheamus'.

I can tell you why Sheamus won the title in three words -- no, make that three letters.

I think everyone thought of HHH when Sheamus won the belt. I wouldn't mind another feud between Sheamus and HHH because they work well with each other.

What I don't want to see is Superman..oh wait I mean HHH come back, destroy Sheamus and win the title during their first match. But knowing the WWE I wouldn't put it pass them.

    An invasion.

A 'face-of-the-company' superstar who's been a face for years but is getting booed as much, if not more, than he's getting cheered.

Is there any chance WWE takes the risk...

They should. It's been far too long since Cena has been a heel. Far too long.

Given the amount of orange shirts I see in the crowd every week, though, it's not likely to happen. Though, if it does, it has the potential to be freaking epic.

Oh, and he's got a movie coming out in September IIRC so don't count on it.

I think Cena eventually turns, but I don't think it happens in this angle. What incentive is there for him to be the head of a faction that essentially destroys everything WWE, and that has some fan support? When he does turn, I think he does it primarily by attacking and berating the fans, similar to Jericho's gimmick. I don't think the timing is right just yet.

Speaking of last night's PPV, two things that stuck out to me:

    1) Is Jericho turning face? In the past, he did his best to get the crowd against him. But even though they were cheering him wildly, he didn't really try to badmouth them that much. His complaints also shifted from just whining to more legitimate concerns and bragging of his past accomplishments, more like a tweener than a pure heel. I wonder if his losing streak culminates in him going face.

    2) The Miz looked like a million bucks again. Jericho will always be my favorite, but The Miz is currently the one guy I look forward to every week. The rap on the way to the ring was awesome, as was his mannerisms in the match itself.

The Miz has impressed me, pound-for-pound, more than any wrestler over the past two years. I remember wanting M&M to break up primarily for Morrison to get his singles career up and running and remember thinking that his partner was useless and probably wouldn't last long.

    Boy was I wrong.

I was at the Breaking Point PPV back in September and Miz was going against Kofi IIRC and all I could think was "Wow, this guy is going to be huge".

He's got the mic skills, he's getting noticeably better in the ring and he's got a great character. Put a little more muscle on him and you're looking at a Jericho-like future champion.

HHH hasn't been the champion, or even had much of a one-on-one feud for either belt, since he lost to Orton at Backlash last year. He could've done more to put over Dibiasie, Rhodes and Sheamus in his feuds since then, but he's hardly been in the championship picture.
