F4wonline is reporting that Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre aren't expected back until after SummerSlam due to visa problems. They were getting tired of McIntyre being an un-over prima donna, but if Barrett's gone for a while, that's going to hurt the Nexus storyline really badly, since he's easily the biggest star of the bunch (even more so than Danielson). They'll probably rush in a defector to help bolster their ranks, since now they're down to six and suddenly they're left with Skip Sheffield as their best interview.

How could they overlook something like that? It's terrible business.

Agreed - WWE is usually on the ball with that kinda stuff. I know TNA or one of The Beautiful People screwed on their visas, and as a result, she vanished for a long time.

Where does the Nexus name come from?

Angelina Love. She left The Beautiful People for a while because of the visa thing, then came back and now is in an angle against them.

I never got into McIntyre (he's usually on fast-forward mode for me when I actually decide to watch my DVRs of SmackDown). As much as I hate the Nexus storyline, Barrett will be a star...sucks to lose him for a bit.

They really want a breakout British star, which helps both to get pushes. Why they couldn't give Regal one more decent run near the top is anyone's guess; perhaps he's too marginalized as a comedic figure now. But other than a unique ring entrance and a decent DDT variation, I've never gotten the McIntyre love.

And he's not British and would beat the fuck out of you if you called him such, but Sheamus has REALLY become a hell of a heel in the last few months. I liked the guy quickly but like everyone else thought it was too much, too soon when he got the belt the first time. Now I have no problem thinking of him as a tippy-top guy -- his interviews have gotten way better, his personality has popped and he's not bad for a big guy in the ring -- and I could see him doing really good business as a face after a couple of years.

I couldn't stand Sheamus at first. Not in a "boo, I hate that guy and want to see him lose" sort of way. In a "change the channel, he's on" sort of way.

But he's definitely grown on me now that the never-ending run of squashes has ended.

Agreed. My 'get him off my TV!' spot now belongs to Kane.

Ah, Kane's OK. He serves a purpose and isn't shit in the ring. And he takes on a lot of WrestleCrap-worthy angles. He's the prototype upper-midcard guy; you couldn't buy him as a main eventer at this stage, except in very delineated circumstances (involving the Undertaker), but he's never a liability either.

Mysterio... I miss his lucha days with Juventud.

The vast majority of the WCW cruiserweight division was fun to watch. I hated the Flock, but I was a Kidman fan solely because of the shooting star press.
