Here's an idea: Miz. Bourne. U.S. title?

What? No mention of Kane winning the World Heavyweight Title? I've been waiting for WWE to put the strap back on him. I know there were rumors he didn't want the belt, but I'm happy he has it back, for now.

If this had been posted with a photo of Kane, I would've accused D_B of hacking Kevin's profile. :D

I will, however, give him the benefit of the doubt. MITB night had the most traffic this thread has seen in quite a while.

Actually, I noticed it had been a while. Welcome back, and just in time for Vince to tank on another invasion! :D

So ... No one has any thoughts on Rey Mysterio becoming -- yet again -- the No. 1 contender? I thought for sure they'd put Swagger back in that spot, but whatever.

  9. I'm guessing Mysterio's lack of passion for putting someone over came into play. At what part does a Kane-Rey title feud sound appealing to anyone other than pre-teen fans of Mysterio?

He just had a somewhat solid run with the belt, and I know Swagger had a good run before that. But I'm tired of the underdog angle they use just about every time he goes for a title these days.

It was cool when he won it a few years ago at Mania and got to celebrate with Eddy. But it's time to retire this angle, and let someone else in the main-event spotlight for a change. Hopefully Rey is nearing the end of his career.

Pretty sure Eddy was dead when Mysterio won at Mania. You're probably thinking of Benoit and Eddy celebrating..

Rey did celebrate with Vicki Guerrero and his own family and dedicated the title to Eddy.
