I thought the Cena/Nexus segment was a good range of emotions from Cena getting humiliated to getting his revenge, to being told that he has to listen to Barrett.

But the one big problem I had was, why the heck didn't the rest of Nexus just stay out at ringside, or come back to help Tarver?

Didn't say you, did I? But minutes into the first Raw after HiaC, there's already at least two posters pissing and moaning about it because Cena I guess didn't embrace his heel role more to their liking. Within character, he acted as he should have, and now the GM, showing signs of his/her impending heel reveal, forces Cena to do as Barrett says or get fired. Cena and Barrett (and even Cole) played their roles well. I know a lot of people here don't care for Cena and his never give up character, and yeah, it's grating after a while, but they have to build this up in a way that won't make people immediately think HBK-as-JBL's-bitch v2.0. Obviously they could fuck it all up, but they haven't yet just because Cena didn't want to tag in Michael Tarver right away.

Not sure, but I assume at some point the GM is going to reveal that he/she is controlling Nexus or giving them clearance to do their shit, so this might be a subtle way of hinting at that. Or they just forgot to cover that point.

Jump to conclusions much? I'm not one of the Cena-haters. I actually like him quite a bit as an unstoppable face.

It wasn't within his character. "I lost but I'm going to get off on a technicality" is a heel move, and it's lame for Cena to try it. "I lost and I'm not happy but I'm a man of my word and an honest competitor when I'm in a match" would be in Cena's character.

Is Raw even worth watching tonight? I found myself a stream of WCW Starrcade 1997 on justin.tv. I think Starrcade wins.

Miz and Edge in the ring talking at each other. If that's not worth watching, I don't know what would be.

First good Golddust spot in the history of the character.

I assume they are making a reference back to the Dusty/Dustin vs. DiBiase feud?

Golddust actually gets the best of someone for the first time in what, seven years? Strange.

And I wonder what DiBiase did to piss someone off. He's been buried.

And I didn't get a chance to say it earlier, but that Edge/Miz/Cole/Computer segment was pretty fun.
