Waltman was always a good, David vs. Goliath babyface, back when he was known as The Lightning Kid.

When he joined WW(F)E, he was put over Razor Ramon in what at the time was a huge upset, and was rechristened The 1-2-3 Kid (because he got the 1-2-3 on Hall).

I don't doubt the Trips would have become a star on his own. He had "the look," which of course, meant he became a star through steroid use. He was decent to good both on the stick and in the ring, but he wasn't pushed until hooking up with Michaels, which is when he had his first Intercontinental title run (1996-97).

My biggest beef isn't whom he married (personally, I thought Steph was an absolute babe before the boob jobs and "touch-ups," if you will, turned her from an innocent, big-eyed beauty into a top-heavy bitch), or that he even got a push. My beef is that, once at the top, he held guys down and refused to put them over to create new stars (read Rob Van Dam, who left WWE for that very reason, Chris Jericho (who defeated Stone Cold and The Rock to become first undisputed champ -- not HHH, et al).

In fact, HHH was HANDED the World title belt, he was so arrogant. And if you think Eric Bishoff awarded him that strap, you're a mark. They could have created a tournament and had him win it that way, while making money, but instead, handed it to him like he was a fucking Prince-in-waiting.

Another beef I have with the guy was his insistence on winning the title 17 times so he could "break" Ric Flair's record of World title victories.

But the biggest beef I have with the egotistical piece of shit is his insistence on being called the "King of Kings."

I think HHH is funny. And a decent heel.

I don't get wrapped up in the political crap. Who cares as long as the show is entertaining?

You keep mentioning steroids, a lot of people in wrestling took steroids.

    Here's just a few names:

    Hogan
    Warrior
    Bret Hart
    Chris Benoit
    Edge

That's just to name a few, and you and I both know that there's tons more that took them too. There's no point in blaming HHH in taking them.

  4. And we have a winner. Well said.

Yes, I know: Nearly everybody, at one time or another, took steroids. Even many of my recent favorites (Eddy Guerrero) were on the juice.

That's not the issue here. The issue here is that the WWE had/has a so-called steroid policy in place. And many of the guys eased off the juice. There really were/are only two guys who still looked as cut up as ever before: One is the owner of the company. The other is his son-in-law.

Amazing what you can get away with if you run with the big dogs.

Chris Masters got caught for Steroids, got suspended for it and is still the same size.

Take a look at Chavo and Rey in WCW, both of them got suspended for using, and they're still the same size.

Also, look at HHH when he came back in 2002 and look at him now. He doesn't look the same at all.

    No, no he isn't.

To top it off, after he went off the juice, Triple H was constantly mocking him in promos.

I was gonna say...there's no way Masters is the same size.

When you tear both of your quads completely off the bone, it's difficult to train hard.

But Masters looks the same as the guy on the left today, that's what I'm basically saying.

    PS: Matt Hardy got released.

Thank god, couldn't stand the guy.
