Lance Storm sees no problem with this.

I was hoping when they had him put on the headset they'd actually do something funny with it and have him sit down and start giving real commentary instead of his usual grunting crap. Could've been hilarious having him go from grunting at Cole to sounding like a normal person, maybe even mixing in a few lines from good ol' JR.

Speaking of, *loved* the Lance Storm reference on RAW. He dropped "If I can be serious for a minute," and the Calgary crowd gave him a moderate pop.

Happened to turn on TNA for just a minute tonight and caught the Dudleys talking about their retirement match coming up at Bound For Glory in what looked like a legit, taped promo. Bubba Ray was talking about how they'd accomplished everything they could, how he wanted to pursue a music career, D-Von wanted to spend time with his kids and they wanted to focus on their wrestling school.
Are they really retiring? Kind of the end of an era if they are.

Who knows with retirements? I would think maybe it is legit, since it's not a "Loser Must Retire" match. Although Foley had a retirement match nearly 10 years ago and I'm still seeing him in the ring.

Both Bubba Ray and D-Von had been contemplating retirement for quite some time now. I would like to think that it's legit, especially considering that they're only working under a one-year deal with TNA which is set to expire soon, IIRC.

Oh, and here's an interesting piece from Nick Paglino on wrestlezone.com:

I can't imagine anyone being a bigger heel than the Rock, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Cena. Just imagine the reactions of the little kiddos and everyone who cheers for him...

If Cena turns heel, I won't be able to stop cheering him. :D I think he can pull it off.

I think so too. I think Cena's in-ring ability is good, and he plays the Superman character about as well as you can. But like Hogan, eventually people get sick of it, especially if you're like Cena and have only been off TV for about six months in eight-ish years because of injury. (Is that it?)

The Undertaker was at UFC 121 last night. He was not in character was in the middle of an interview when Brock Lesnar walked by. He and Brock had a little face-to-face interaction. Mark told the interviewer it was "personal" between he and Lesnar.

This was not a shoot. Here's the YouTube vid.

Maybe Lesnar gets convinced to come back for WM for Undertaker?

Or, maybe they were just working the crowd.

Quite frankly, I didn't see anything to it.

All Taker said was, "You wanna do it?" Brock barely acknowledged him.

I think it's ironically funny, though, that Taker was talking about was a great fighter Kane is.

Velasquez should have come out to the "Slow Chemical" theme, with the dark arena and fire.
