The overall ending was pretty convoluted, though. I would have gone for a Cena gets pissed at Barrett, then tells Orton to RKO him on purpose. Orton obliges, then beats Barrett.

Cena came into ring, attitude adjusted Barrett, which ended up disqualifying Orton. Barrett wins the match, but not the title.

All this after Barrett said Cena had to help him win the match. But (I guess, although I thought he had said it), Barrett never said he had to help him win the title. He just assumed so. Kinda a bastardized Dusty finish.

I knew that was coming the minute he said what he said.

Why wouldn't he say that Cena had to help him win the title? Why would he give a shit about the match without the strap?

Anyone over the age of six should've seen that one coming.

As for the future, I'd like to see Barrett get a rematch and then specify that if Cena doesn't help him win, he's fired. Cena helps him win, Barrett says thanks and lets him out of Nexus. Cena then tries to mend fences in the lockerroom, only no one will talk to him because of what he did. Drag this out for a month.

Orton-Barrett rematch at TLC. Barrett is about to lose the belt, Cena interferes. Cue monster heel turn.

    It would be awesome.

That sucks. It does set up a scenario I mentioned a couple pages back, though. We end up with a three-way at Survivor Series, Cena wins the title and Barrett tries to force him into a Fingerpoke of Doom. Cena refuses, tells Barrett if he wants the title he's got to earn it, and we get the big blow-off match between Cena and Barrett for the title.

Ever since the angle started, that's been Barrett's M.O.: "John, you have to help me win the WWE title."

It didn't change until the PPV.

I don't remember Barrett ever saying "help me win the title." Maybe I haven't paid attention very well or something, but I just don't recall him saying for Cena to help win the title.

Great line by Punk about how Regal trained Danielson, while Michaels just collected $3,000, followed by Cole saying, "CM Punk, for one night only, ladies and gentleman."

    Good stuff.

    WTF?

    Santino beats Sheamus? Why?

So Sheamus can go completely apeshit on him next week.

He can do that anyways. Makes little sense, to me.

If anything it seems that Sheamus has been lost in the shuffle a bit. Maybe because Trips was expected back, and since he isn't, they don't have anything for him to do.

Hmm. Seems like all is proceeding as planned ...

Pretty good Raw, but this Cena/Nexus/Orton thing is a little too predictable. Was there anyone who thought that Cena wasn't going to be the special ref?
