Savage, because he could play the dominant heel force, or the babyface in peril equally well. I just don't feel sorry for Orton when he's beat up.

Although that would be one helluva match.

I agree with ucasm, it's not close at all. Savage was the total package, and if it wasn't for Warrior and Hogan in the 80's Randy would get more recongnition.

The only period that I didn't really enjoy Randy, was when he had the Macho King gimmick.

Randy Savage was one of the greatest heels of all time.

He was better on the stick than Randy, a better worker, and he carried the lug Hogan to decent bouts.

Plus, he had a hot wife.

The wwe.com site has always been pretty bad, but today is even worse as the "Stand Up for WWE" crap is every-freaking-where.

RIP "The Flying Frenchman" Eduardo Carpentier, one of my favorite wrestlers growing up.

I wonder if WWE has an outside consultant that has told management that all faces should have a corny smile when they walk through the curtains. It's awkward as hell to see Orton come out with a smile on his face now. World's Strongest Man also does this.

Although it was a disputed title, I think Carpentier was the oldest living NWA world champion. He and Thesz had a program in the 50s where Carpentier won a match after Thesz got legitimately hurt and was unable to continue. Carpentier claimed the title, and, I think, it was eventually held up, and Thesz won it back.

Gene Kiniski died earlier this year, and I think now Dory Funk Jr. is the most furthest back NWA champ.

This Stand up for WWE is a bunch of crap. Not to get all political here, but if Linda is going to cite her WWE business experience as why people should vote for her, then the entire WWE is fair game to criticize.

Having said that, I got a good laugh out of the Vince's coma segment tonight. He got in a cheap, but harmless dig at Blumenthal and it was funny hearing off-camera Trips tell Stef "He's probably brain dead," referring to Vince's coma.

That whole skit was awesome. Loved it.

  12. I brough this up a while back, but they had a really good thing going with Orton, the face without being a face, and they are really starting to ruin it.
