Couple weeks ago, IIRC. I read that he messed up his hip and he was looking at either surgery or long-term physical therapy. I think he's elected surgery, too. Reports have said he's out till at least the end of the year.

If they could get him to come in and do it without actually having any creative control, Kevin Nash would be a great surprise GM.

Kevin Nash just tweeted a couple of days ago saying "Vince let me win the Rumble, and face Undertaker at WM"
    Something along those lines.

I personally don't want Nash as the GM. He hasn't be relevant for a couple of years now and nobody really cares about him anymore.

Shawn was a good commish in the past, and I have no doubt that he could do a good job as the new GM. That said, I don't want him back. Like Baron said, it would make the fans want him the ring again, and I personally don't want that to happen. Not that I wouldn't love to see HBK wrestling again, I just believe it would be a huge slap in Undertaker's face, and I doubt HBK wants to do that either.

Another guy that just popped into my head is JBL. I don't know how that would work, and if people would like it, but he could make a good heel GM to be honest.

Nash doesn't really get me excited to be a GM, although I think he would be pretty good in the role. And I hope to God that he doesn't end up Undertaker's next WM opponent. It's got to be someone who you think can beat 'Taker (like Lesnar).

Undertaker might be questionable for WM with the shoulder injury, and there's a good chance that WM will be his return to the ring. If so, I can't imagine him coming off a five-month layoff to lose. The plan for his WM opponent has changed a lot in the last months (Cena? Lesnar? Orton?) but if I had to place a bet today, I'd put two bucks on Kane as the revenge match. Problem there is they've exhausted all the traditional gimmick matches they normally work, and inferno matches suck. Maybe a career vs. career match?

Since were sort of talking about Undertaker and his opponent at Wrestlemania, name a few people/wrestlers that you would like him to match-up against? Remember this could possibly be his last one.

    Thoughts?

If Taker makes his WM return, then I can see him taking on Kane, just to end the program and use that matchup as a break in the "Will Taker lose at WM this year?" and build up intrigue for WM in 2012, when Taker ends up quitting.

He's already battled Orton, although that was five years or so ago. I'd take either Lesnar, for the intrigue, or Cena. A wild card, if they were ever going to have UT lose, would be Barrett.

I wouldn't mind if Undertaker loss to Barrett.

Thinking about it though(I know it's still a few months away) that would be a great way to turn Cena heel. Have Taker vs Barrett at WM and have Cena help Barrett win the belt. It's one of the best ways to turn him into a heel IMO.

Taker won't lose at WM, so we can forget who we want to win.

If I had a choice, I would go with Kurt Angle.

    I know, I know. *sigh*

See, Undertaker has gotten piss at Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels and a few others for not putting young talent over, so maybe he wouldn't be against putting Barrett over at Wrestlemania. Just thinking outside the box.

I'm with you Harley, I would love a Taker/Angle match at WM.

For the last little while, I've been advocating that if Taker should lose at WM, it should go to the guy that needs that last little rub to superstardom. And for that same little while, I've been saying it should be Sheamus. I could see Sheamus targeting him for a couple of months (not outright attacking him, but trying to goad him into a match). They have a hard-fought but relatively clean match, Sheamus wins, Taker shows his respect, and Sheamus becomes a top face. That might be more for the WM in 2012, since I think Sheamus as a monster heel probably has another 12-15 months before you start thinking about turning him.
