Also loved the cheesy segment with Rhodes, Dibiase, etc. al and the million dollar belt. Perfectly executed.

 

I was kinda disappointed not to see IRS' kid make an appearance.

I just sent my dad a text saying "I wish Lord Alfred was still alive," believe it or not.

 

Cena is totally turning heel.

 

At long last, Barrett is making Cena wear the N shirt. Which probably means he's staying face at Survivor Series.

 

Yep. Gonna be like Rock at Survivor Series 97(?).

No, it was definitely Suvivor Series, when they had the tournament for the vacant title. Rock had been playing pseudo face for a few months after ditching the Nation, Shane was a ref and screwed Austin, and it seemed like Mankind was the "chosen one" of McMahon to win the title until they screwed him and Shane counted 3 for Rock. That turned Mankind face and set up their feud.

 

Could happen, but I don't see it. If so, they blew the visual of Cena in the Nexus shirt tonight -- if he was turning Sunday, that's when he should have worn the Nexus colors the first time.

 

Best Raw of the year. By far. Even the show with the Nexus invasion was pretty lame until the end. This one was a lot of fun to watch for three hours.

Loved the sneaking in of Lord Alfred Hayes. My only regret is that it's too bad Bobby Heenan couldn't have made an appearance.

Piper brought his 'A' game tonight with his promo with Cena and shaking his head and telling Barrett to shut up. That was great.

I was underwhelmed by the t-shirt saga. Cena wears the shirt for, what, five minutes? Unless he turns heel and voluntarily puts the shirt on next week, I would say that I would be very disappointed. Putting on the shirt would have been a huge part of the storyline. That is, unless he's going to continue wearing it after his heel turn.

All in all, a very strong show that kept me smiling throughout.
