Maybe it's just my old fuddy duddiness creeping in but this in no way, shape or form is even close to Hogan turning.

I know someone else said it back when Cena was forced to join Nexus but this moment is about 1,430,285 times less important.

The NWO was a game-changing faction that single handily shaped the very foundation of wrestling in the 90s and, for a while, even shifted the battle for power in the Monday Night Wars, the biggest wrestling story, IMO, of all time.

The Nexus, meanwhile, is a group comprised of one potential superstar (Barrett) and a slew of other future has-beens who will never, ever, ever compete for legit gold or main event status.

The only reason a possible Cena turn would be memorable here is because of Cena and the cult-like status he's taken on in the WWE the past few years.

When you think of Hogan turning, you think of everything about the moment. You think of the NWO, the turn, the way that faction took over WCW, the way WCW began beating WWE, the way Nitro sold out all across the USA, the way that one moment shaped wrestling history.

If Cena turns, it will only be notable because of who he is, what he means to younger fans and anything that happens from this point on. But it likely won't be about Nexus. In fact, I'd be surprised if, say this turn happens, we even remember the circumstances behind it in a year, let alone a decade.

    My predictions:

Barrett/Miz, Kane, Ziggler, DiBiase, Team Del Rio, Sheamus, Nexus, Natalya

I agree with schiezainc. I don't even think a moment like the Hogan heel turn can happen again, since it has already happened - Now if you're a wrestling fan, it is always in your mind that even the purest face of all time (Hogan) turned. Cena turning would shock anyone under 18, but for longtime wrestling fans, I think we're all expecting it to happen at some point.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Turn Cena heel at Wrestlemania, you have Cena cost Undertakers streak. That would be a Hulk Hogan type of heel turn IMO.

Hell of an opening match. Glad I was wrong.

Hogan's turn really was no big deal because everyone genuinely hated him by that point anyway.

Though half the people already hate Cena.

Put this in stone: There is no way Taker loses at WM.

Is it just me, or have these opening three matches been some of the best in WWE in a while?

It's a good sign of the future of the company when you've got guys like Ziggler, Sheamus and Bryan putting in those kind of performances.

And MVP is the first one eliminated in his home town. They always love making them job in their town.

My, how far Masters has fallen.

That Rhodes stuff was pretty funny.

And somehow, I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of Alberto Del Rio.
