Like an idiot, I was checking out this board to see what people had to say about the rest of the show and, well, I'm genuinely upset that I had the ending ruined for me (I was catching up on DVR).

That being said, holy shit what a twist.

After last night, it felt to me like something needed to change. Like there needed to be some sort of shot in the arm to jumpstart this show and, boy, did we get it tonight.

I'm too tired to list all the ways I loved this twist but, suffice to say, it was awesome.

Oh, and one last thing, my wife and I started laughing hysterically when we saw that little girl. It was amazing. I can't decide which reaction I liked more: her or the Asian boy after Cena was forced to join Nexus.

Wow. Raw actually surprised me with a title change I didn't see coming.

Alright, so where do we go from here?

I'm guessing Barrett challenges Cena to some sort of fight, the stipulation being if Cena wins, he's back or something lame like that. Right?

I hope not. At this point, anything that diminishes the stipulation in the SS match is lame in my opinion.

I debated whether to even DVR the show tonight. Glad I relented and did, because that was great TV. Even though I already kind of knew what happened -- saw Todd Wright of Sporting News Radio tweet about Miz about when RAW ended, so I knew something was up -- it didn't diminish watching it. Loved it.

Good to see everyone else found that girl's expression as funny as I did, too.

The last time I felt this emotionally attached to a Raw ending was when HBK came back and kicked the crap out of Orton about three years ago.

    Well done.

    Also Punk > Stryker.

The MITB is one of the best ideas the WWE has ever had.

  10. OK, someone has to esplain this to me Lucy. I get that Orton has become a face. Not just a popular heel, as they should have left him, but tell me how a guy goes from what Orton was . . . woman hitter, just despicable human being, to a guy who gets this reaction from little kids when he loses.

As a cheap shot to myself, it would be like the NFL trying to pull this off when Richard Seymore laid Ben Roethlisberger out, with a little girl in a Big Ben jersey in the crowd. History just makes it strange.

They did this when the Cena/Nexus angle began, when Cena lost to Barrett to bring on this slave angle, which I get because Cena is the lovable character . . . but WWE really tried to pull this reaction off with Orton? While I loved giving Miz the strap, that part just felt wierd to me.

    Three explanations:

    1. Could be Orton's daughter or niece or cousin or family friend or some such
    2. She really hates the Miz
    3. She thinks Orton's hot

They were probably looking for shocked faces and got this perfect reaction image that they couldn't not use.

    Gotcha. Didn't know that.

And strangely, he's never won it.
