I have a feeling Nexus turns on Barrett tonight.

That Morrison match was awesome. While he's still iffy on the mic, he is a hell of a talent in the ring. He could definitely be the next Jericho / HBK from a wrestling perspective, if he isn't already.

For all the crap (and deservedly so) WWE took for years of rotating the same five or six guys around the championship picture, can we agree to give them some props on their booking over the last year or so? They've really done a phenomenal job of committing to building new stars and getting fresh faces into the main event picture.
Miz, Sheamus, Swagger and, going back a little further, Punk have all gotten first-time championship runs.
Ziggler has had an extended run with the IC belt.
Del Rio has gotten a major push and will be a heavyweight champion by the end of 2011.
Although he hasn't won a title yet, Barrett is already a huge star benefiting from his feud with Cena. The rest of Nexus is getting lost in that shuffle lately, but there's a couple guys in there who have gotten face time and could break out individually in the next year or two.
Morrison seems like he's finally set for the well-earned main event push.
Hell, even Kane's championship run -- underwhelming as it was -- was a change of pace from the endless Edge-Undertaker switcheroos.
They've even used the existing stars like Orton, Cena and Mysterio very effectively to build guys up.

I know some of this has been born of necessity. HBK's retirement, hiatuses by Jericho and Undertaker, and HHH's injury forced it on them. But there's also clearly been a commitment to a different direction in WWE and it finally seems to be paying off.

It's amazing that Undertaker's injury pushed Kane being a jobber to the stars to the third longest WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign. Only Triple H and Batista have held on to the WWE's version of the Big Gold Belt for a longer time.

Who does Edge feud with from here? They've really gutted Smackdown's roster over the past year or two. I hope they don't continue the Kane/Edge feud. The only major heel on SD's roster right now is Alberto Del Rio. Swagger has been jobbing out on the mid-card lately. I think an Edge/Swagger feud has the potential for comedic gold, but they'd really need to push Swagger for a month or two before elevating him back into the main event.

Maybe I'm reading into it wrong, but I thought the announcers dropped some hints at an Edge-Christian feud down the road.

They're getting more mileage out of her than a streamlined Prius.
