The first guy announced in the third match of the card, and all the storyline is about the other guy's drama with his stablemates. It's hard to buy Sheamus as the World or WWE or whatever champion if he's getting that kind of booking.

Love that Orton is getting the crowd tonight. Makes sense. Even at his most heelish, he gets decent support when he's not fighting Kofi Kingston.

Actually, all three champions have been introduced first tonight.

  4. That was my guess . . . orton enters and wins the rumble after losing . . . lets say Legacy screws up and costs him the match

His invincibility has definitely cooled off since that bullshit win over Cena. If they really wanted to push Sheamus as a legit main eventer, he should have dominated Cena and beat him cleanly, not won the belt by virtue of a "lucky break".

That was my first hint they didn't think much of him yet. I still contend he's too new for this type of role. McMahon would be doing him a favor long term taking the belt off him tonight.

It might be better to wait until the elimination chamber. Then you can have him lose in a non one-on-one situation, or by use of a weapon of some sort, and he doesn't look weak.
Either way, the odds of Sheamus making it to Wrestlemania with the belt are somewhere south of the Mendoza Line.

    Didn't see that one coming.

Anybody else have their feed die?

So what happened exactly? My feed cut off and all I see is Orton RKO Sheamus and get DQed. I'm guessing Rhodes interfered and got caught? Weak.

  10. Of course you did, silly. I told you it was going to happen. :)

Anyone got a better feed? Mine keeps cutting in and out.

Rhodes interfered, Orton hit the RKO, and then the ref called for the DQ. Afterward, Orton hit Rhodes and Dibiase came in and also got hit. Orton got a few licks in on both of them before he turned around and Sheamus hit the big kick to the face.
