Tremendous. And I was surprised that he was still even on the roster. It's not like he's been around much in at least the last year.

Other releases: Katie Lea, Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang.

Dave Meltzer reported that Mickie was released because she was late to the bus on a couple of occasions during the European tour, which held up their travel time (check out Matt Hardy's tweets on the Smackdown crew's travel sked from Europe to Raw in NJ on Monday. They were on a bus, plane and train for three days straight with two stops in between: One for a show, and once to eat and catch another bus). The WWE was not happy with Mickie anyways (for some reason I don't know), which was why they had put her on Smackdown.

Meltzer also reported that Shelton and Haas may team up in TNA, which would be pretty cool. Why they got rid of Shelton is beyond me. Guy can flat-out work, although he never really had a personality. A perfect example of why there's a need for managers.

Katie really had nothing else to do. The only reason she and Burchill had ever really gotten a shot was in the pre-PG era, they were going to try an incest angle, which got yanked pretty quick.

Slammaster was done once they broke him and Festus up. Yang is a pretty good cruiserweight, but there's really no spot for him.

 

I'm just about the biggest Benjamin mark you'll find and I LOVE this. God, if he goes to TNA, I might have to start watching it.

 

Frankly, his lack of personality won't really be a factor. He can just walk into the ring, wrestle, and leave.

 

But, see, I don't need every wrestler to have a personality. I love his in-ring work the same way I loved Benoit's work and pre-Team Angle Kurt Angle.

 

I agree. I don't need all personalities either, long as they can tell a story in the ring. He'll be more successful in TNA because of this.

 

Shelton's going to be perfect for the X Division. The WWE doesn't have anything like that, and Benjamin will be able to stand out more.

Here's this supposedly killer Russian and he has to stand there looking like a douche while this little creep insults everythign about him. I was waiting for the Kozlov clothesline-him-outta-his-clothes that never came.

I can't believe I am saying it, but TNA was 10 times better than Raw, which sucked hairy ones. I would watch WCWNA more if Scum Hogan didn't have to stick his ass on the screen in every segment.

 

Extreme Rules off and running. Sheamus attacked Trips in the back before their match was supposed to start. Now Miz is demanding Bret Hart declare ShoMiz the greatest tag team in WWE history tomorrow night on RAW.
